4 to 20ma is used for Signal Transmission in Instrumentation.
The 4-20 mA current loop has been the standard for signal transmission and electronic control in control systems
a 4-20 mA current loop is a very common method to convey the sensor data acquired.
As major as the 4-20 mA loop standard has become in the process control industry, many do not understand the fundamentals of its setup and use.
Not knowing the basics could potentially cost you money when it comes time to make decisions about process display and control.

If people ever ask me to help them with information on Instrumentation, this channel is on my priority list for recommendation.
I agree
Best explanation of instrumentation so far.
All of your videos are very informative. No comparison.
This is such a good explanation and exactly what I was looking for, thank you!
Very informative and easy to understand.
Best channel ever keep the videos coming
I was searched so many channels to know about why instruments use 4-20ma signals but I didn't in understand clearly but by this video i understood.

Amazing description. This helped me out a lot. Thankyou
I want this kind of explanation it’s was too good to understand to me thank you so much
Amazing video. Never understood why there were Process Meters 4-20mA, now I know that it is to measure the specifically the process plant signals for transmitters to PLCʻs.
The setup is similar to Automotive. Field Instruments to PLC to Final Control Element would be Sensors to ECM to Components.
Amazing video. Thank you for putting it together.
Good Instrumentation Basic information.
Very good explanation. Pls reply my doubts:
What if we take lower limit 2mA instead of 4mA,why only 4mA?
Why upper limit is only 20 mA not any other value ?
Thanks... useful information 💯
Nicely explained. Thank you for the information.😃
Very helpful 👍
Very nice explanation ✅
Really channel is Appreciate able
Super explanation
Thanks for this video
Good information
Nicely defined
Excellent mam😘
Very nice
Nice 👍
Good video
How long can we installed a sensor using 4-20mA signal?
Nice

more information in short time
👍
Ma'am ..why we use only 20mA ...why not use ...25..30mA.. please answer me ma'am....this question is asked me in interview.
Video on how image sensors work in mobile phones and cameras.
Just a standard
