Yes, red label is not a very good scotch unfortunately. Mostly sells off of global availability and brand name of Johnnie Walker.
Agar koi method se aap smoke induce karwa lo McDowell mein ban gya red label. Agar aapka budget achha ho toh ek baar Ballentine 20 try kijiye it's freaking awesome.

I usually enjoy my drinks with water and ice. Water to enhance the taste and ice to maintain the temperature. And I always liked Ballantines of better tasting.

I bought this (Ballantine's) today in Bangalore for 3500 rs. But I don't regret a bit. Really love it.

Red label imported vs bottled in india....huge huge difference..would request if u cld review the same...most of the people who have started tasting red lately need to know why it got so popular and the indian version is soo different from Original..

Teacher's Highland Cream (Scotland bottled edition if you can find it). Another good one is Scottish Leader, has a good note of smoke and quite tasty, it is only available as imported and bottled in scotland, should be available for under 3000. Johnnie Walker Black Label is also available for around 3000 in Delhi. Other than that not many options are there for budget peated Scotch whiskies.

Ballantine's is passionately blended scotch whiskey. Red Label is just barrel aged sheep piss.
Ballantines, J&B rare, vat 69, Teacher's highland cream, Famous Grouse, Clan McGregor, Grant's, White & Mackay are all better than Red Label.
