I am a low voltage contractor in Georgia. I cannot stress enough to make sure you have all your low volt and electrical wires in place! All TV locations, speaker wiring, security system wires like keypads, motion sensors, door and window sensors, and sirens. Fire alarm system wires for smoke detectors, CO detectors etc. Exterior cameras, phone line for elevators, chase pipe from attic to wiring headend for future wiring, service feeders for cable TV/internet from the outside near the meter base to the wiring headend. Also, like he said. Make extensive videos of all the mechanicals and every single wall in the whole house. The videos will become valuable in the future for reference just like the example he describes in this video.
This video is amazing and thank you so much!
Do you mind sharing the 3D software name you in the video?
I like to add blocking for towel rods, toilet paper holders and especially hand rails. I also put blocking in the bays next to windows because curtains are usually wider than the window.
