You know I love a good budget bargain, and today for the first time I am going to LA's designer outlet stores. Fancy boutiques like Gucci and Versace - but where everything is on sale! Kind of like thrifting...but everything is brand new lol.

You should compare outlet clothing to the normal department store clothes! I feel like outlets are a scam!😅
It’s the material they use that’s the scam. It’s always a little cheaper than what they normally use.
Some brand just produce stuff with less quality for the outlet
@@francisi7840 That is so stupid! I know for sure Coach is one of them. They need to use these outlet malls to sell their past seasons and not make more unnecessary (poorly made) products, that way they don't need to burn up millions of dollars of merchandise and pollute the planet even further!

You can ask them if the item you’re interested in was made specifically for the outlet or not. They can’t lie to u about it.
I got an Alexander McQueen scarf for my mum at the Desert Hills outlet a few years back for like $80. There was no price tag on it and the employee just shrugged and went "Does eighty sound reasonable?" and I kind of goggled and went "uh, definitely?". These places are hidden gems.
Premium Outlets (for luxury brands) have been a secret in Paris for years, you could get unsold stock from previous seasons for 60-95% off in so-called ‘the back row shops’ which were literally in the little lanes behind the big fashion houses. They used to say they destroyed all their unsold stock but actually bulk sold them to places like those instead, might as well get some money out of it anyway since the whole collection has already turned a profit and it will cost more to destroy. Now Premium Outlets are found around the world. Malaysia has 2; Gentings Premium Outlet and Johor Premium Outlet (near-ish the Causeway to Singapore) and I bought so much from GUCCI, Prada and Versace for less than a regular priced Versace handbag! So worth it!

Yuuuup! Got a scarf at this Gucci store for 70% off for their 4th of July Sale. 😅 Not made for outlet either, it's from last season. Got so lucky.
I really like the *amzrepx* pack. Brought it to America and loved everything about it. Good quality and low price.
More than 80% of items in outlet stores are “made for outlet”. The brands use cheaper materials and make it to sell for profit at the “sale” price. If you look at Coach, the serial code tag on the inside starts with F, then it’s made for outlet(F for factory). It irritates me because I think it’s misleading to give a retail price that is complete fiction. Coach got sued for this. There are probably still bargains to be had on clearance in outlet malls, but the sale price isn’t a discount, it’s the full retail price for an item of less quality than the boutiques.
Agree. I got a pair of Lucky Brand Jeans from the outlet store, they have holes in the butt pockets already and the ones I paid full price for don’t.

This is not true for the outlets in Europe. You can literally get the same stuff as you could in a store just that it's a few sizes left, practically what was not sold. But yeah, you are right about the US ones.

The reason it’s on sale is because modern-day outlet stores primarily sell different, lower-quality products than the regular retail stores, made specifically for the outlet to be sold at lower prices.

Wait a sec, you never heard of Camarillo before? Are you even from LA? What do you mean “secret”? It’s not a secret, it’s literally the biggest and well known outlet in Southern California. I moved to LA 9 years ago and by the end of the first year of living here I already was shopping there. I’m shocked you didn’t know about the largest outlet around LA😮

Back in early 2000s there where outlets middle of nowhere in Southern California next to Mexico next to native gambling casinos that had the best stuff. Shopping and food was everything. It has those vibes

I won quite a bit when I was at a casino on vacation a couple years back and I saved part then spent part on a fancy bag 💜. Most of my pay goes to cute bags/shoes and video games. 😂 Oh and dog toys for my aussiedoodle 🐶.
I highly recommend going to outlet stores in general; I have some really cute tops for work and I paid a 1/4 of the regular price.

Lol the Camarilla Outlets have been around literally forever, with most of these stores there but also like a Vans outlet and a Cinnabon and an Auntie Ann's. I didn't know there were people who didn't know about them.
The skirt is very nice and the price is unbelievable. I wish you would buy the UGG red boots, I like both the pink and red boots but the red ones are my favorite and very eye catching. It will also be great for Christmas New Year's season.
