And Jessica Chastain and her on-screen love Oscar Isaac mirrored their characters as they put on a cosy display while attending the premiere for their movie during the 78th Venice International Film Festival on Saturday. The actress, 44, looked incredible in a dazzling red strapless gown which boasted semi-sheer detailing all over, teamed with a glitzy diamond necklace.

They are playing up their chemistry on purpose: it gets people talking about them which in turn gets people to go watch their new show coming out soon where they play a married couple. The same thing happened with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper while they promoted A Star Is Born. I'm sure these actors have genuine affection for each other, but I do think there is an element of playing it up for the cameras to promote their shows or movies. And clearly, it works.

@@hi-ve1cw I'm a little late on this but I've watched the show and if you're married to an actor who shoots those type of things too, this isn't much of a difference. So I wouldn't say their marriage is open (though it still could be of course), but just that there is a certain amount of tolerance that other/typical couples might not (need to) have.

In slow motion it’s different, it’s all about perspective. Photographers were focusing on Jessica since she’s more famous, you can hear them calling her name the most. Oscar was about to get out of the way when she pulls him closer to demonstrate that he’s important too. Oscar touches her arm then realizes her skin is soft, being his goofy self he did a double look on purpose just to show how he likes the softness. He leans to kiss her arm, she pulls him closer and he ended up kissing her closer to her armpit. Both realize it and start laughing. If you know Oscar, you’ll know his natural laughter when you see it, which is what he did here. It was obviously a funny, honest mistake. People have been exaggerating and talking about infidelity lol Even his “chef’s kiss” is something he did with Zendaya. The show they’re promoting has been nominated for awards. Everyone watched the show because of this clip. Mission accomplished.
