I believe in the teaching of knowledge,
some people needs it to surfive the capitalistic economy of this era, while some have the inate/ built in interest and capabilities on how to grasp, react and demonstrate knowledge without being pushed for..some dont(and in reality some times its even a waste of time, even to try)
What i'm saying is, public enforced educations system are not for all. Therefor to those "lucky" enough to take parts in their God given mind capabilities to grasp knowledge in what so ever form it may takes...comes a great responsibilities to those who simply can't.
Sadly to say, the seemingly enforced education system we had nowadays lead people (especially parents of the millenials) to believe to some extends of what certain values it could offer in returns, dissapointedly enough of which in reality it would sudgest otherwise, which later on in live would lead to even greater dissapontments.
Thank you for your encouragement professor, i have the believe that you meant well for this sort of approaches, but i also believe the politics have another ideas on what to "extract" out of these young learners.
Till the day we ends the " auchtoritas, potestas, subjects" ways of living...Science exploration(not the seek for truth) would seize it's utilities and meanings, therefor loose it's creative advantages in the mind, body and soul of most common people, on the other hand it might be considered to work against common people instead and indeed it is as such.
I am not a socialist or any other what the social , political term can derives to the describe.
Lastly forgive me for any mistakes i have made in this short. English is not my native language.
I hope i addresed the issue as clearly possibpe
    Sencerely,
    Commoners
