I'd probably buy one if the price hadn't increased 40% since this video was made. At $2K it's a great value - at $2,800 probably still a decent investment over time but not the no-brainer it was when this video was made...

Why didn't they put a transformer like the Prologue Classic did? And if you compared them to these using the same speakers and source, what difference would there be in sound?

You are so right ! Preamps are over priced ! I use a single ended tube PreAmp/buffer by iFi and for the money its great ! But i am digging On PrimaLuna I have worked on and enjoyed audio gear for years and yeah
