SUMMARY
-Stingrays live in tropical and subtropical waters that are shallow and warm. There have been cases where people died after an unfortunate encounter with this fish.
-Lionfish can be spotted in both the South Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. They have numerous needle-sharp pelvic, dorsal, and anal fins - which all contain venom.
-Urchins have venom in their triangular-shaped arms. That venom causes convulsions, spasms of the smooth muscle, paralysis, shock, and death.
-Indonesian needlefish resemble daggers and swim near the surface of the water. Their long sharp jaws turn needlefish into 3-ft-long spears. There have been cases where people happened to be in the way of these creatures.
-Electric eels live in the Amazon and Orinoco Rivers. These unusual fish can deliver a huge 600-volt electrical discharge. Such a voltage can easily result in heart failure in humans.
-Barracudas live in tropical waters, deep oceans, along continental shelves, or close to coral reefs. They aren't venomous, but the real danger is their scary sharp teeth.
-Blue-ringed octopuses live in coral reefs and tide pools in the Indian and Pacific Ocean. The most dangerous thing about the bite of the blue-ringed octopus is that it’s practically painless. Victims start to suspect that something is wrong only when they start to suffocate and become paralyzed.
-Reef stonefish are the most venomous fish on our planet. It's super easy to step on this fish. Stonefish have a row of spines along their back. If they feel threatened, they extend these spines and use them to deliver their venom.
-The textile cone snail is at the top of the list of the most dangerous creatures in the world. One drop of the venom this snail produces can kill 20 people.
-Box jellyfish are hunters. They can easily latch onto people by wrapping their slender tentacles around a person's limb or body. Since 1954, there have been almost 5,600 recorded deaths from box jellyfish attacks.

Here in the philippines, there have been 2 couples who died by a sting of a box jellyfish. Even though you manage to survive, it will leave a dark scar because of their venomous tentacles.
Hazuki Hyakuya ohh i see... you also live in philippines?!
me too😉!
i live in the Philippines and the couples drown and they died from the box jellyfish
That's... That's scary... Ok. well now IM EVEN MORE AFRAID OF THE WATER THANKS Hazuki Hyakuya
@@yeetingfirecastle2968, you don't have to be afraid on the water. If you want to swim on the beach/resort, just take a look on the water if you see a net in the middle of the beach. Those nets are preventing other creatures to pass by on the resort. If you've seen nothing, doubt if you want to swim or not.
I also live here in the Philippines and i know one incident in the Caramoan Cam Sur one girl who died from box jellyfish too.
This just makes me more scared of the ocean
Hyo Hyo Hyo true and more scared of starfish cause you can step on them and you don’t know if it’s the octopus (I forgot the name)

What you show as a stingray in some of the pictures is a Manta Ray and they don't sting, because they don't have spine on their tail. They are harmless, peaceful creatures. Please don't invoke fear against them!
Oops! Thank you :)
I was going to say that
Do you love stingrays the way I love raccoons

*steve irwin died doing what he loved most* 💔💔😢
And you could try to do the same thing a million times and you can’t get the same result bc the legend happened to be in the wrong spot where the stingray had a clear path to his heart 😔
I once had an encounter with the reef stonefish. I can't explain you how well it camouflaged. We spotted it only when it caught and ate a fish. It was like. Suddenly a fish vanished just in front of us. With unbelievable quickness. That was a rare experience.
What do you think about my experience??
sounds kinda scary, hope noone stepped on it

Simple solution.
Just stay out of the ocean.
It's their home, not ours.
I came across box jellyfish and cone snail and blue ringed octopus
Are you also in Australia

Finley Bullock tell me the difference between hair and hair
@@uWu-jb9cj but manta’s and stingrays are different
lionfish are mostly peaceful, you can swim around them aslong as you understand the risks of it and take precautions. P.S Do NOT bother them.
I saw lionfish by snorkeling, they were totally calm, and beautiful 😆
Is that the fish that is Lola in shark tales?
I agree with that 🐠🐡
That's stonefish sting looks pretty painful! T_T

Watching bright side means:
DONT EVEN TOUCH ANYTHING IN THE OCEAN!!!!! EVERYTHING CONTAINS VENOM!!!!!! AHHHHHH
In Australia literally everything is venomous for SOEM RANDOM REASON AND ITS REALLY ANNOYING

Me: runs far away!
Then you fall into the ocean with a billion different types of fish XD
me: (lock myself in my room and tell mom dont wanna go to the beach again)
me: MOM AM I SAFE NOW?
Maybe it can flop in your room
This stuff is made up. I bet you guys live away from the ocean, but if you knew more about it, you wouldnt be afraid of it. If you ask me, the ocean is pretty amazing!
The creatures in this video are dangerous, but 80% of these creatures are not deadly. Take the lionfish for an example. The venom is not deadly, and as long as you dont bother it, it wont bother you.
@@theboiwithapencilthegaming1056 But I'd rather avoid the ocean
Why me will swim
I've actually seen the box jelly fish on shore when I was like 5 or 6 and the tentacles we're about 7ft to 8ft long and I thought it was pretty and harmless. I wished I saw this video before that happened. Lol thank you for this information it is really interesting to me and keep making videos💙

You know why a shark bites you? Well they actually do that on accident because they think your a fish!
Actually they think you’re a seal and the bull shark just doesn’t care cause it’s more aggressive to us humans than the others intend to be
I don’t live in Australia but I heard a story on tv about a girl that was stung by a box jellyfish and her brother rushed out to save her and got stung a bit too and then the doctors at the hospital found out that YOU SHOULD NOT PUT VINEGAR ON THE CUT....
“Number 10, stingray”

YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!😁😁😁😁😁😁
Never seen any creatures in the video, but I was in Australia one time on the beach when the Lifeguard blew their whistle to get out of the water. He'd spotted a Great White heading straight towards the area where everyone was swimming. When they realised what was happening, the swimmers got out of the water incredibly fast. We then watched as the shark circled around for about 5-10 minutes before leaving. Only 4 people got back in the water after that. They are both the bravest and stupidest people I've ever met. A true Jaws moment. 🦈🦈🦈
Bondi?
I was stung by a box jellyfish and I have also have stepped on a stonefish I still remember that I hated it it was horrible
YOU STEPPED ON THE MOST DANGEROUS ON THE LIST AND THE SECOND OR THIRD MOST TOO? Idk what I am doing but I’m lucky cause I stay where I can touch and I’m not that tall and I can barely swim
Very good

Waitt Havent any of you played insaniquarium yet?Amp the Electric Eel yep his the 6th creature
Seen a blue ringed octopus, box jellyfish and a sting ray in the wild.. in wonderful Australia! Luckily I have never been stung by any of them though. That blue ringed octopus I saw was super tiny but I think that was the full size Lol. It was in a middle of a rock pool and everybody was warning each other about it. :) Box jellyfish is pretty common and had a few classmates get stung but not bad cases.. though they were in pain for ages and were crying.. Sting ray I actually caught him on a fishing line when I went fishing.. my first time ever trying fishing :D Was a Leopard sting ray
I love blue ringed octopi

I once saw a box jellyfish, o encountered it face to face. I freakingly and foolishly was amazed of how beautiful their tentacles are, then, out of nowhere, i got latched on by some tentacles, i immediately felt so much pain, it felt like my whole body is in complete paralysis, luckily a boat come nearby, and i was rescued. But until this day, the marks of the tentacles are still in my skin.
Just saying, some of ur pictures of "stingrays" r acc mantarays. Big difference
PHEW! I'm SICK OF PEOPLE SAYING THATS SHARKS ARE BAD. THEY ARE NOT. IT IS INSTINCT TO FIND FOOD. THEY ONLY ATTACK AT SUCH A HARD FORCE BECAUSE THEY THINK YOU ARE FOOD. UGHHHHHH.
Like how we eat meat
sharks are cute. and you're right. Sharks do have instincts. don't wear bright colors to the beach and they will leave you be. As I said you are right. Sharks aren't bad.
true very true
Very useful thanks for the information
