I don't think the experiments triggered his degradation, but rather Roche knew he was degrading. He submitted himself to the experiments because he wanted that one last fight with Cloud.
There is one thing which comes to mind with Vincent. In the original, Lucrecia put the Protomateria into Vincent’s chest to allow him to control Chaos, leading to the events of DOC. We know Deepground exists in the remake timeline via Yuffie so then why does Vincent seemingly lose control in that scene? It’s show how rapid and frequent Chaos’ transformations can be when Vincent isn’t in possession of the materia and the Protomateria should be a sure fire way to keep control. So in conclusion, where is the Protomateria in remake timeline?

I'm so confused. Is Sephiroth...NOT Jenova in most of this game, like in the original? I feel like people forget that from the original for some reason. Sephiroth wasn't in most of the game before he got awoken, and even then he was stuck in the crater after that haha.
It's Sephiroth using Jenova. Even in the original. Jenova was just mostly using Sephiroth's likeness. Think of it as a Jenovaroth. but the real Seph was rebuilding himself and his spirit was going against the flow of the lifestream. In this new series it's easier. If its in the physical world it's Jenova looking like Sephiroth. If it's in the lifestream or only Cloud can see him, then that's the real Sephiroth using the Jenova cells.

Can sombody explain why Vincent changed into the minotaur transformation I always thought Vincent’s only transformation was chaos from dirge or Cerberus I’m kinda a ff noob and started not to long ago
He can transform to 4 different beasts depending on his limit break level. Chaos is for limit level 4, the strongest one. The one in this video is Galian beast, it's for limit level 1, the weakest.
He has 4 different transformations. One is the beast, one is Frankenstein I believe, one is the one dude from nightmare on elm Street, and the last is chaos the demon thing.
I still wish they didn't made him into a lab rat this is rlly messed up. Damn hire someone who has character ! Have you even played the OG game? that 'is' an old game. This is Square Enix and this is how they do things. You don't have to like it, but don't accuse it of being a bad game just because it doesn't perfectly match your taste.
