@@TheJonasbz There have been many great rock bands over the decades (including The Rolling Stones) and many others. AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Dire Straits, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Guns n Roses, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Doors, U2 and plenty of other examples. They have all produced songs that are considered classics.

Saw them right at the start in 1975 when they first arrived in the UK from Australia. I was 16, now 64, still a massive fan. This sort of rock is Trans generational - the new fans could be my grandchildren.

Great reaction, Loveth! I really love your enthusiasm for AC/DC. This video actually has the original studio recording from when they were recording the Back In Black album in 1980 superimposed over the footage from the River Plate concert that was performed in 2009. Brian hasn't sounded like that in decades. But, what they have lost in sound and raw energy over the years, due to age, they have made up for with stage presence and showmanship. That is what makes them one of the greatest bands in history.

    I'm a very long-term AC/DC supporter from 1974 and I rate this song in my TOP 5 AC/DC songs.
Depending on my mood at the time, sometimes I call it my all-time favourite AC/DC song.
It's got the rhythm and the swagger of the ideal Rock song.
The lyrics actually describe some people's lives.( when I was younger)
"Too many women and too many pills."
You can substitute 'pills' for other substance of choice.
Shoot to thrill is a euphemism for an ejaculating erect penis.
For me, it's the music that I love about the song.
As numerous people have stated in this comment section, all the tracks on the "Back in Black" album are brilliant and amazing.
Something that makes an album even better to listen to is the track listing, the order of the songs.
    1. "Hells Bells" 5:10
    2. "Shoot to Thrill" 5:17
    3. "What Do You Do for Money Honey" 3:33
    4. "Given the Dog a Bone" 3:30
    5. "Let Me Put My Love into You" 4:16
    Side B
    No. Title Length
    1. "Back in Black" 4:15
    2. "You Shook Me All Night Long" 3:30
    3. "Have a Drink on Me" 3:57
    4. "Shake a Leg" 4:06
    5. "Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution" 4:15
Back in 1981, I nearly got thrown out of a Pub whilst on holidays in Northern Rivers area in NSW, for repeatedly playing 'What Do You Do for Money Honey" on the Jukebox.
When I say repeatedly, I mean 6 or 7 times.
In memory of the late, great Bon Scott.
    RIP mate.

Hi Loveth, This is from the soundtrack to Iron Man 2, AC/DC released an album called Iron Man 2 for the movie, there is round about 12 songs on the album, but it's old songs featuring both current singer Brian Johnson and original singer Bon Scott, the album is amazing!! 😀 😀 The song itself features on the 1980 album Back in Black, which is phenomenal 😀😀🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸
Fun fact for you Loveth, Mickey Rourke plays the villain, who's name is Whiplash, in the movie!! 😀 😀
Here's one to check out, Loveth,
    AC /DC - High Voltage from Donington, England in 1992, i was at that concert, and it was absolutely amazing!! 😀 😀 🤘 🤘 🎸 🎸 🎸

I’ve been to a few concerts, seen AC⚡️DC in the early 90s twice, and I don’t know if it was the times (no phones) or being in Australia? But it felt like one big party.
Everyone so happy, not one person sitting down, never felt or seen anything like it - it was the best money I’ve ever spent, $100 bucks, you could add a couple more 00 and it still would have been worth it.

    • @anzaeria
      @anzaeria Před rokem

They do indeed put on great shows but $100 sounds pretty steep for a concert back then. In Australia, I was usually paying about $40 for concert tickets during the 90s.
