You deserve a break Sian and what you’re feeling is very normal. As I approached my 40s it was such an emotional time. You’ve got something to look forward to now and Christmas will be here before you know it 😆

Yes 🙌 Christmas all fills me with joy! So I can’t wait to do a Christmas binder stuffing. Thanks for helping and normalising, I am feeling more positive now I am off work for a little, but locking on plans for myself and things to look forward to is nice. Thanks for being here and supporting and not letting me feel alone in this xxx

I started doing annual weekends away with my 2 best friends when our kids were about 5 and I can honestly say that it helps me be a better Mum and wife. We give everything to our families and taking that time to recharge yourself is so important. Plus it gives my husband the chance to have one on one time with the kids which is great for them too!!

This is so true and def something I will need to do annually. I have also locked in a dinner with friends monthly which I have never really done for at least 15 years

Thats the best, as mums, we pour so much into others and dont leave enough in the tank for ourselves, we lose our individuality without even notice it disappearing, even to the point that it feels so unnatural if our families are not with us. I also experience separation anxiety when I am not with them constantly thinking of the “worse case scenario” everytime. I am trying to work on it especially how my kids are getting older (one alrdy entering adulthood) and will soon be leaving home. Ive had one weekend away so far and plan on having many more🎉 Ur vid even prompted me to look at cruises❤ PS. Did my first wallet stuffing, u are my inspo so thank you👏

This is amazing!!! Everything you said is spot on and I am so excited you have done your first stuffing!!
It’s a good idea cruise as al catered for packages price (no stress of internal travel) and just relax and eat and drink!! I can’t wait. But yeah we are always growing and learning and i have realised the kids need to see me as a person as I want them to one day look after themselves too! It is important

Yes it’s funny how we have grown closer the older we get. Don’t know why I hadn’t thought of cruise together before!

The cruise sounds so great! Mum Guilt is the absolute worst, let me assure you it is there no matter what you do, when I was a single mum and worked I was constantly feeling guilty for working and having them in care etc. When I stopped working I constantly feel guilty that I am not able to afford for them to do all the activities and things that they want... it's never ending! So you definitely deserve a break!

It is def never ending, and yes the guilt will be there and of course the constant worry forever!! You guys watching and being here for me is the absolute best and gives me an avenue that’s mine :) xxx

I have always thought it would be amazing if all,us girls did a cruise together, it could be a cash stuffer meet and greet lol. 😊 you will,have so much fun enjoy and don't be hard on yourself you deserve it, all mums deserve some our time, we never do and sometimes you need to do it for yourself 😊😊❤

I'm SO PROUD and happy for you. It's definitely a must getaway trip you need. It will help you unwind as a woman to come home as a fresh mum. You will start to feel more alive beautiful. These ruts us mum have are super hard... love your bucket list idea I need to try do this xxx

Thanks so much for this comment! I have realised I need to take more time for me and it will make me a better mum and allow the kids to learn to cope without me. (They get anxious me even going to a drs appoint for 20 mins) so I am slowly helping them realise I am a person to and they are stronger than they think. I even did my first dinner out away from then with a couple of new friends last night you would be proud :) only took 10 year 😒

This is so Amazing Sian! I also think that you deserve to have a break being a parent can be hard! So you have definitely earned a break! I look forward to hearing about your cruise! I like the idea of a bucket list binder! I have about three things on my bucket list I want to save to save for one of them being Japan! I look forward to your upcoming video’s!

Yes Japan is on my bucket list as well, I am still to figure out that binder, and be good to really have a great think about things to do perhaps not to expensive. I have a lot of plans for travel but just feel things in list we have to do first. I can’t wait for the cruise and will definitely fill in all the details and gossip!!!!
