The 5 x 5 tour was amazing one of the best shows Ive seen them do and I've been to them all since 1986. Hunter and the hunted is beautiful on this...

Incredible set to play to a festival audience, maybe two familiar songs to most people
I thought the same. Only really Waterfront and Don't You non Minds fans would of heard of.
Still, at least they weren't trying to promote a new album off the back of it as that really boils my piss when bands do that especially when they have not even released the album yet🤬🤬
They're happy as long as they get DYFAM 😅
For me, drop Waterfront & play NGD instead ❤

This is great. For 2020 they need to get the original 5 back together for a one-off tour; Jim, Charlie, Mick, Derek and Brian pick 4 songs each to play...can be a different setlist according to which songs appeal to them for a particular city...Not easily achieved, but Simple Minds can make miracles happen...21-22-23-24!
If you could not see the video you would think that Derek is playing, GED is a brilliant player and has maintained the legacy sound of DF. It's a great idea though!!!

Good show of Simple Minds
Simple Minds are SO much better than U2. The mainstream charts might not have agreed but true fans know it. Jim is the perfect front man with a voice that's a great combination of grittiness and passion. He doesn't have to constantly show off and be over the top in his performance like that *ahem* other guy, yet he's full of energy. And Charlie is an underrated guitar genius. I enjoy their entire music library!
musically yes, but they don´t have spiritual sense like u2 and they are not like U2 charismatic.
Jim Kerr acts like a fat drunk pub singer doing a singalong medley.
Jim is a a better singer and a better front man. The bono.

ois ollu parempi kuulla niitä klassikoita, 80 ,,90 luvulta.
I’ll always love SM’s though I miss the creativity of Mick or Andy on keyboards. Those guys always drove SM’s forward, nowadays they’re largely a greatest hits band.
