It’s a model kit made for people to straight build just like what you did. Or you can paint everything up to make it look better, and hide the seams. Just depends on if your hobby is building models or collecting action figures. Also, the water slide decals will fit into the recessed areas with the use of a decal softening product. So that’s why Ban Dai made decals of the markings so you can have something to looks good and uniform. Much easier than painting them for some.
I’m finishing up Ban Dai’s boba fett. I’m quite pleased with how it’s turning out. It was easy to fill the wand and painting had been a blast. A 41st clone trooper on kashyyyk is on the project list after I build Djin Djarin and give him a super reflective finish for his besark armor.

I'm more an action figure guy 100%, but this was fun. It makes you thjnk of the engineering that goes into making a highly articulated figure. Definitely a fun afternoon task

I own 9 different Bandai Star Wars model kit figures. Still don’t own any clones but have a few stormtroopers, Kylo Ren, Luke, a sand trooper, general grievous and such.
Trying to find the clones seem to be troublesome for me. Would like to get at least two

Fiddly is a good description for it 🤣. It's definitely a process but the end result is quite nice

I have both Bandai and Hasbro Clones, but the Hasbro ones just keep yellowing over time.

I've noticed that with the 2013 ones. Have you had that with 2020 ones? I hope the 23s are better
