Watching this made me realize that I’m being verbally abused by my parents and my parents always say like why are you so depressed and I always tell my mom it’s bc of her bc she yells at me like today I got a b in math (btw I’m terrible at it and I have always failed that class) and she yelled at me and said you need to get that to an A and I asked her if we could get ice cream or sum bc I have never gotten a b in math since being in the high school and she said no and fat shamed me.. I would give anything to go back to when I was younger where my parents actually showed they loved me bc now I feel like dying and have had suicidal thoughts.

Hi excellent video ty so much, I have three kids and I always talk to them in a positive manner to build up their self esteem and self worth for strong confidence, I praise them and give them credit all the time, when they make mistakes I explain to them what they did and help them correct it, I’d intervene and help the parent realize they are being abusive not helpful, love and understand with communication goes a long way as opposed to screaming and yelling that accomplishes the wrong results!
