When the dog's about to hit one of the birds w/ a mallet but the bird trades him a bigger one & then the other bird comes out of the mallet & hits the dog w/ another small mallet it reminded me of the T&J cartoon, Quiet Please, where something similar happens.
When that piglet's trying to get milk from his mother but the others are crowding him out it reminded me of a Disney cartoon about a farm, in which the same thing happens.
I used to watch these on tv as a little kid. I'm enjoying them just as much now, 60 years later!
That farm was sooooo restful looking ! and H&J didn't create all that much mayhem, and what a sweet ending.
