My very first concert I ever went to without my parents was The Monkees at age 12 in 1967 and shamefully I must say that Yes it was here in Jacksonville, FL that we "Boo'ed Jimi Hendrix off the stage......sorry Jimi.......ONCE A MONKEE FAN, ALWAYS A MONKEE FAN!!!!

I see Peter was finally growing his beard and getting older, so to speak. His voice sounds a whole lot better.
They may have grown old but none of them will have ever grown up. They'll always be our four insane boys.

Good-by Peter Tork. I hope you and Davy Jones are happy in Heaven. We will always love you guys. You gave us much happiness and laughs over the years. All good things must come to an end and we all are getting older. Thanks for good memories.

I love it! Everytime The Monkees play and perform, they stick it to those doubters, more and more! Anyone who could talk smack on The Monkees...must simply be jealous! These are very talented guys , EACH in their own musical style , skills and comically too!

This was so entertaining! Bah-humbug on the critics who said they weren't a real band. They were great and the audience loved them. I miss Davy.

It's a damn shame that the people that think so little of these guys have no idea why. They only assume they can't play. They will never change their minds even if the Monkees were to go out and play a whole Rush LP note for note. It's sad. I'm glad to see they do have a legion of fans....even though none of you live near me!!! Micky really is great here. It impresses me more and more every time I see them. A very interesting set list here! You wont be disappointed. Thanks for sharing!

Thank You for posting this. I grew up with the Monkees at age 13 in 1966 and just turned 60 and I still love them and always will. I miss Davy and it still doesn't seem possible he is gone but he is not forgotten. He will always live on thru us in our hearts. soul and his music. He was my favorite and I was so in love with him as many others were. I love the other guys of course they are wonderful and they keep Davy alive, he was there brother, friend and band mate. Thank you again.

Been a big fan of The Monkees for years and saw them live with all four a few times and was thrilled to see them. Watching this makes me smile but sad too because Davy is longer with us. Never mind at least we all can still enjoy watching them through the power of CZcams and other social media. Happy times.

I was 13 for the first season of the show. I remember it was on NBC on Tuesday nights. I remember this as I had Boy Scouts on Tuesdays and I always had to get my sisters to tell me what happened on the show. I did manage a few episodes.

As a 4 yr old in 69 I learnt to dump the dansette stylus eventually at the edge of the disc to get the beginning of the song “a little bit me a little bit you “ - thanks to these guys ‘ the psycadelic ending to “pleasant valley Sunday “ helped open my mind to how music could be more than just a tune . Love from the new forest in wessexshire and thanks uploader and my big sister Cheryl for buying singles.

Each incarnation of the Monkees live concerts always brings about amazing and different elements. With Davy(minus Mike) it is a more polished stage show. Wish there were more of these available....thanks for the amazing upload.

Oh my goodness, I can't believe it! I was at this concert, and a little perturbed because I bought the tickets with the impression that Mike was going to be there, & he wasn't! I am heartbroken that Davy is no longer with us, the Monkees are coming to Mesa where I live now, & though it won't quite be the same, I am grateful nonetheless to see the remaining three. I have always loved the Monkees and always will. How can I get a copy of this for my personal memories?
