I like this Canon printer model so much better than my last Canon printer. It is so much lighter than my old one which makes it so much easier to hit the trash dumpster from the balcony of my apartment, so now I don't have to carry it down the steps to throw it away.

Thanks a million! This advice helped me solve a slightly different problem. All I know is after watching, this, I followed a couple steps, and made sure that the printer door was closed, and my printer was back to normal, and my life back on track! 😅Thanks so much.
Make sure the new ink cartridges are installed properly.
If the lights are still flashing hold down the Stop button and the Black button at the same time for 5 seconds or more and it resets the black ink button. Then after it stops resetting hold down the Stop button and Color button at the same time for 5 seconds or more and it will reset that cartridge.
It worked on my printer. The lights stopped flashing.

The lights of my printer is always on… i cannot turn it off once it’s powered.. Tried multiple time to unplug it and plug it back but nothing worked. I’m running out of options. Like the light is yellow but it doesn’t blink. It just stays on and cannot do a single thing on the printer.. Plz don’t tell me i am the only one and can someone help me!!!!!!
This is exactly what is happening with mine also. What a useless printer! I have not even used mine and it is not working. The light is NOT blinking, it resides on a constant amber warning light. I have checked everything is reach.... ANYONE ASSIST ON THIS.

@@ahmadfalah325 bought new Canon cartridges and got hhis fixed.
@@BlueRage I quess it will accept any. The error comes with the ones used and cannon stores 5-6 coded cartridges in memory. You may even try fitting 6 different sets than the first one will be seen like completely new set.

My B light still lightens up, this doesnt solve for me the problem, the black cartridge isnt recognised
Slighly diff solution here. I was having warning and black cartridge lights blinking 15 times.Nothing helped above.
What I found that, there are 19 connecting pins on the printer side which touch the printer head strip. 2 out of 19 were in a pressed state and I suspected its the root cause.
I took a miniscule amount of WD40 on a needle head and put there on top of those 2 affected pins and gently nudged them. They were back to springy in 2 minutes.
The printer now works like a charm. I hope this advice helps somebody.

Try to unplug the power cable for 10 minutes after removing cartridges. Then restart it install cartridges and see if that works.
I have this problem but no matter how many times I remove the ink cartridges it still blinks

It may be ink cartridges not recognised by the printer. Or just load paper and try to print and see it that solves it. or check if the paperjam is an error.
Sorry this did not work for me as the cartradges were already fitted correctly and full of ink but the printer is unusable.

Hi I've replaced the ink cartridge 'and now I only have one flashing yellow light on the c 'what is it plz ??it's canon ts3355
Still flashing for me.
Maybe because I used other ink that is not suitable for the model, though I used cannon ink still because it's cheaper and I used to put a hole to the ink cartridge to refill it with the ink.

same problem because i use another cartridge which is refillable. still blinking the black and color botton but i can already use the printer as normal. i just ignore it LOL

@@catherinesolis4306 No, I haven't. I observed that there are times the printer is blinking and sometimes it's not. I'll just follow what @fbyoutube advised. IGNORE? IGNORE as long as the printer still works, haha.
@@fbyoutube3371 same here, I didn't change the original catridge just refill a new ink. And although both black & color ink is blinking, printing is working fine. So I just need to ignore it as per advice

I just did all of this and still flashing
I changed the ink and it went in ok but the triangle light keeps flashing E. I unplugged the printer and then plugged it back in and still that yellow triangle is flashing. Any idea what that is?
plz try reinstalling ink cartridge.
@@CopyPrintScanChannel I did that too. It's baffling as I took out the ink, wiped it down, relisded the paper, shut the entire system down. Rebooted and it still is flashing that gold triangle which is the error symbol.

Try install empty cartridges few times and then install refilled cartridge and see if that works.

Resetting ink level is difficult so it will show the ink light . Just use for printing and ignore lights. Second light is error of ink light as well.

yeah im having that friggin problem too, i uninstalled & reinstalled the software, as well got a new ink cartridge yesterday, and it's still not wanting to print and still shows that flashing hazard(lighting) light that is orange, ughhh it's aggravating and i know i didnt do anything wrong.

Not sure why its not working for you. May be it has developed a problem. Try reset printer and setup again.

I think, touched the contacts on the cartridges and the chips shortened out.

Reisert the black ink cartridge. Its not installed correctly. Clean the cartridge and install.
I applied your way but it gives 5 times orange light
Only the black ink light is on and it has a refilled cartridge in it

It could be different issue. Best is to reset printer.
