I have listened to probably EVERY recording of this concerto ever made. This is the first time I have heard every single note, not just a sloppy slurry of ultra fast playing. Both pianist and the pianist/accompanist have allowed this wonderful concerto to breathe. I am thankful for that. After over 60 years of listening, I can finally enjoy this concerto for what it truly is: a remarkable keyboard work by one of the 20th century’s most gifted composers. Bravo and brava to both these young musicians, Magnifique!
