Robby: "I sense a disturbance in the force."
I for one am sad the Motley Crue sticker went away lol
Don’t go away mad just go away lol
Me too!
That sticker was Vintage!😉👍
Ditto
I’ve been watching for over a year now and just want to thank everyone over at Fab Rats for all the quality content. This is my comfort show
Ben has become such an awesome part of the channel. I friggin love that guy
Should have left the sticker. You all are a Motley Crew! Hence why I enjoy watching. Makes me feel at home.
I sent the first funnel he opened. I used one for 10 years working at a Chrysler dealer. The mid 2000s minivans were tough to burp but that funnel made it much easier. Just don't fill it to the top or you'll have a mess when it burps.
Nice part is the stopper. Once your done burping you use the stopper to move what's still in the funnel to the reservoir.
I used to live in Maine. From 1979 to 2007. You have to love time spent just talking about times past and present!! Priceless!!
For the 65 Chrysler Coronet were all going to hate seeing the build end, but for one of us subscribers it will be a happy ending and put big smile on our face, and for what your doing for your subscribers in this giveaway I want to thank you for giving back and paying forward! Shows just how good the FabRats family really is! I'm looking forward to what comes next, if it's the end of the Tow truck rebuild or the start of a new build, the FabRats saga's are always a good watch...
Motley Crue is the best rock band of all time.
I'm an old 80's kid I love the CRUE sticker! When I saw that , I was like Yes!! Lol🤘
Glad you spoke up Jeff.I didn't know what to write I love Motley However if the sticker bothered them they should have removed it off video and never mentioned it.But to blame there mistakes (Bad luck) I feel is wrong. Wonder what Nicky or Tommy would say??Thanks for sharing.
Wasn't a legit 80s Crue sticker.. it was a 00s hot topic bumper sticker. The band probably would approve because they didn't get a dime from the sale.
@@imbadwrench well now I feel better lol thanks for sharing 👍
This past weekend we just had our 38th annual End of the World Rod Run & Car Show here on the Long Beach Peninsula in WA state. It was a winner. All rides minimum 30-year age and older. We had over a thousand cars registered this year and the Peninsula rumbled end to end. Everything you could imagine and then some. I just kept on imagining your awesome Mopar that you guys are putting together. It would have stood out for sure to the crowd that appreciate honest iron. Not to mention getting it's fair share at burnouts.. keep up the great clips. Safe travels. Good Journeys and Happy Trails to you.
Paul, Michelle, you can head to New York, right to my house in Cooperstown!. Loved the build. I'm so glad it's done and one of us lucky subscribers is going to get it!
For the Record Ben is a great addition to the FabRat team, very talented and happy go luck guy! So much God given talent in this family it’s almost not fair! FabRat channel is one of the best, always something new to learn with great personalities! We are all thankful for this family!
Keep up the great work and God bless and watch over this family!
Yeah, we all need Ben's personality....
Or maybe it's just me that's needs it😂😂
Well said. God given, and also earned through hard work!
@@donkoltz1 …and a family history of farm life with a large amount of real property and the ability to collect and trade “junk” between neighbors which enriches the participants but not “Waste Management”. …and yes industriousness, a big part!

The Crue 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
So glad you're doing such a nice job on my car. I hope you been wanting to cruise to Oregon before the weather starts getting too ugly. If you wanted to throw some studs in the trunk that would be so cool, sometimes we get freezing rain. Take care now and plan on getting here on a Saturday, your wife needs you to come to church with me Sunday Morning. Don't worry, I'll take you home or drive you to the airport whatever you gotta do. I'm nice like that. I'm Brother Ron 😇
You guys work together so well, It's almost like you were family or something!😄😄😄 Someone is going to be a very happy camper receiving that gift. While I would enjoy it, I would enjoy your company much more. So if it happens to find it's way to Tennessee, Welcome Paul and Michelle and any other of the Fab Rats family that wants to hang out! God Bless you all.
At 72 years old I like motley crue. Great video. Thanks guys! Good job on the camera Hunter.
I think it’d be cool if they included the entire build series on a dvd with the car, that way the special touches they added or adapted parts are always understood and never forgotten. ;)
you know you're old when you mention DVD's... LOL 😂
@@armondhammer9 NO if he had mentioned *Video-Tapes* now that would be old. 🙂 🙂 🙂
Aww man, what’s the millennial thing to say? Thumb drive?

Glad to see brothers Ben and Paul work so well together! You all bring fun content to life while showing some great skills. Grace and Peace
Love to watch this channel, love the banter between Paul and Ben. The most enjoyable part is when Paul is building something, retrofitting or better still the mix and match of parts and components. The kids are getting a great upbringing and also learning to build/repair their own stuff like bikes and gocarts. This is one hell of a talented family. One suggestion - would love to see the Coronet get a coat of paint also.
Paul is definitely still a big kid at heart I love it
I don't think I want to own anything he's driven for very long.😁
"The other side will come off waaaaaaaaay easier!"
The lie every mechanic tells to themself to keep them motivated... 😂😁😇
To be fair if it's the first time doin something the second side is always faster because you learned what not to do on the first side.
The Motley Crue sticker may be the reason to Coronet was in fixable condition after all these years
Right!
Calendar is marked, that car is sweet! You guys are awesome, thank you all for all the time you spend entertaining us.
Ben you are a great addition to this shop.
No, not the classic Crue Sticker! :(
We're glad you took that sticker off as well.
Tinted windows in the 65 would be great.
Maybe a "Fab Rats" sticker as well.
Paul: I’m not that good at being a mechanic.
Also Paul: Let me rebuild this transmission real quick
Exactly so! I marvel over how effortlessly he picks apart and then rebuilds a 3sp gearbox.
You need a Muttley Crue sticker for good luck🐕⛽️🇺🇸
No!!! Not the Crue sticker!!!
If by some crazy chance I won it (I never win anything), I’d put a new Motley Crue sticker on it.
The first car I ever drove, was a 1965 Dodge Coronet ... that was donated to my high school, for drivers education. I was 15 and a half, got a learners permit, and was taking drivers ed, so that I could get my drivers license ... on my birthday, two days after the last day of school, prior to summer break. Passed drivers ed, had also driven my dads 63 Dodge Dart wagon (3 on the tree) ... being newly 16, I still had to get a parents signature on the application, recently divorced, my dad refused to sign. Supposed to have both parent signatures, but my mom forged my dad's signature (as she did a few times during their marriage) and I got my DL .... June 1966
Hunters vibe tho. And is goofy giggle 😃. That's a young man with experience. His responses prove it
that sticker is cool i love motley crue !!!!🤟🤟
I seem to remember some guys using Chebby Orange on this ol mopars engine…
THATS where your curse came from!
Not the poor lil Motley Crue sticker 😢
Don’t worry, when you send it to my driveway, we can make it the Motley Crue-zer once again 😎
Yeah the first thing I’m going to do when I win the Coronet is replace that sticker…
😂👍
That front bumper is a beauty! Now the rear is too, screw the crue!
Hey guys, great show! I hope you don't lose too much sleep over complainers, safety police and whiners. Matt has people complaining about his animal cruelty, unbelievable. Just do what you all do, most of your viewers think you're doing great!
Motley crue there she is. And lookin fine! Noooooooo that's her name! Don't take motley crue off her!
Whoever wins that beauty of a car is going to have the biggest smile on their face and have soooo much fun!!! Great video as always 👍
We sure will! lol
Yes I will 😉
another productive day in the FabRat shop! plus a successful test drive with smiles - way to go crew. Won't be applying to win their Coronet trophy - being in north central Alberta (Canada) too many restrictions to cross border. besides, it ought to stay in USA so the new owner can tour longer during the year! Whomever does win this Great Coronet Trophy will have the rebuild history with bragging rights! Looking forward to seeing the recipient's joy and appreciation video on this channel!
The smiles from Paul and Hunter were priceless. Paul looked like he was 18 again doing the doughnuts on that dirt road! Great video y’all. The Coronet would do so well on the North Carolina Coastal highways!
You guy's are lucky to live in a real beautiful community. I seen the pitfalls of growth with my town up here in Canada. I wish we stayed small. Our town has lost its feeling. Paul can I say you're a great dad too.
I agree. The patience of Jobe. They even have game night! How awesome is that?
They do just seem like the all American family I mean I guarantee they have the same problem as others but in terms of he don't smoke or do drugs he's a hard working family guy I think some of it is the location they live in very small town country an the other is how his parents raised him
My small town Canada town is at the same crossroads where we don't want significant growth but keeping with the times is growing harder and harder with a small tax base. I hope we can keep our identity as we grow
I have really enjoyed watching the Cornet get built but never expected to see it get this much love. FabRats has done a excellent job making sure this old girl is something special.
Great job Team FabRats.
That Coronet is getting better and better ,I love it . I’d love to see it make its way to North Dakota but whoever gets that beautiful white whale is going to love it just knowing all the work that has went into it 👍The interior is all brand new , the man that did the seats is a artist. Basically the Coronet is almost new .The 66 Coronet I had years ago I got out of a garden about 30 years ago and did a bunch of work on it to get it road worthy then drove it everywhere for many years
I sort of hate to even say this, but I don't watch your videos for the mechanics of it, which I admit are pretty cool, I watch to see your family dynamics and how you interact. I came from a freaking nightmare family and I just enjoy you guys, your friends and wives and parents and kids, pretty sweet. You guys and Matt and all the other people who appear on your channels in that regard say quite a lot about the state of Utah and the people who live there. Gracias from Mexico!
Amain Hobbies in an online RC retailer(surprised they didn't include a flier or something in the box), the black aluminum stand I would imagine is a chassis stand for your RC crawler collection. I didn't send the stuff to be fair, I just recognized it.
I was going to say the same thing
The black aluminum stand is for 1/10th scale cars or trucks, so you can work on it with the wheels off the ground.
This is great. A classic that is ready to share her life story with the world. Her new owner will have a gem in the driveway!
The Coronet is alive and on the move... I'm with Paul, I ALSO can't wait to see where she ends up and what type roads she'll be calling home!
I remember my dad having 2 cars. A Coronet, and a C100.
He wrecked both while drunk.
My dad drank a lot lol.
NY dream was always to get and restore a C100, but life had other plans...
Motley Crue sticker look pretty cool on my car I don't know what is people's problem Motley Crue is badass I would have never took it off
Can't believe he took a grinder to that sticker! WTF, he trashed the bumper.
I know!
That was not a grinding Wheel. It was a Scotch brite Wheel
@@m9ovich785 Really ? did you see the spot on the bumper when he was done
@@robsycko Zoom in on the Wheel.
I think the Crue sticker is part of its history and should stay.🤘🤘🤘
I think the reason they pissed so much is there was a Pentagram on the sticker I would of gotten rid of it too
@@madmanmechanic8847 I agree. I do not want anything to do with symbols of the devil.
I’m an atheist. I don’t believe in curses or ghosts or Santa or the Easter bunny or gods. I like human emotion. That’s what put the sticker on the car, not the devil…

Thanks for another fun video.
Those radiator funnels are the best! You can use them to bleed air out of the system. Because they attach like a radiator cap, you can hook it on and fill it until the funnel is about half full. The "weight" of all that fluid sitting on top mimics how the radiator cap works, so you can run the engine get it good and warm and still allow air to bubble out ( and it can't suck any new air in). Works like a charm.
They are amazing! Bought my first one and it was “borrowed” to my best friend, lol, haven’t seen it in over 10 years ;) bought a new one since
Thanks fir explaining those. Never saw or heard of one until today.
Those funnels are the best!
What are they called?
@@michaelharris1455 Radiator funnel kit (fill kit). Napa etc. $40 or less. I have restored several cold heater cores with these as the air comes out of the system.
Oh no not the motley Crue sticker , I thoy it added character to the car
That last box with the ball caps the black thing looks like an rc stand, exaust on tow truck looks great, Coronet's a proper ripper nice job Paul & Ben, great video thank's for sharing God bless ❤😉👍
Ben doing the dirty job. Nice work. Those Mopars are definitely put together different.
Grrrooan-click! Torqued! Love it.
Technically what Paul is looking for is called a telehandler, in construction circles.
Gradall is what I know them as .
Sky track
Gradall and Skytrak are brand names of telehandlers .
@@user-em9rq7ds7v sky track is a brand name.
@@michaelmcclure8673 gradall is a brand name of a telehandler
Mötley Crüe was one of the best bands in the country do not remove the sticker !!
Removing that bumper sticker is definitely an improvement!
Ben is a Great addition to the channel. Love his Humor 😂😂
That's awesome you all are blessed enough to spend your own time and money, knowing that you'll be giving it away.... Well that's just amazing to someone like me. Hope they appreciate it!
I will go ahead and order my replacement Motley Crue sticker to put right back where it belongs!
I’ll be cruising that thing and bangin heads soon enough!!
Cornet without a Crue sticker is like “Complaining about seeing cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory”.
Oh Ben now you did it!!! What FATE is in store for the Motley Crew Car!!! Will it run, will the Coronet make it to its new home??? LOL*-)
In 1969, my dad took the whole family on a road trip to Myrtle beach S.C. from Ventura Ca. w/no AC. in his 64 Coronet 440!
Amain hats are from a Radio Control retailer. The black metal piece is an RC truck stand that spins if needed as you work on your RC truck. Your boys will love that stand.
If I win it, I'm putting the sticker back on it....and maybe a Black Sabbath on the other side
My uncle worked as a mechanic for a Chevrolet dealer in the 60's. They had a new impala (they had sold) come in with a rattle the customer wanted fixed. Turns out there was a coke bottle hung by a string inside the front fender! This had to have happened inside the factory.
Beer Bottles in the Frame rails too...
I have read many stories of line workers tying cans or bottles inside the doors or under the seats, anything for a laugh.
A handful of rivets dropped in a rocker panel before it was welded up.
Hahacha
Yep turn ever bolt on the car once, and many bolts more; then blame the sticker removal for the success! I love your humble was Fab Rat Family
Of allll the vehicles different CZcamsrs are giving away this is the one I want. I'm glad you left the original paint, that leaves it looking like an old lady's vehicle... until you find out what's under the hood lol lol. You folks are all just awesome, I so enjoy watching to see what y'all are up to next. Stay safe and GOD bless
You brother are so much fun to listen to and watch. Ben and Paul make a great shop workers so funny. 😂
All it needs now is a good Crue sticker!!
Had one on it....but ☹️☹️☹️
That is Absolutely Correct!👍😀
I always thought the sticker was awesome. My 15yr old son loves Motley Crue, and old Mopars! We have been watching this build together from the start!
Thanks again Folks. I really enjoy watching you work. I work my tail off and some times I look around the shop for a minute and see everyone else just standing around. So I really appreciate your work ethic skill and creativity. The rat rod tow truck is going to be great. I'm a fan of Matt's, Bike's and Beard's, and all the folks that recovered and restored Ed's Golden Nugget. Thank you all and God bless.
I think the Crue sticker added to the retro feel ..my first cassette tape was MC🤘
Word!
I've been watching you guys for maybe 18 months. I think it's great that you can get to do what you like for a couple of years. You got me through the end of COVID so I can only wish you the best of everything moving forward.
Be Good. Stay Safe and put a little in the tank for the years ahead.
Right @ 400 a day still dying from Covid here in the good old USA. But guess we don't need grandmaws or grandpops.
A tip, if you turn the bottle when pouring out of one that looks like the oil bottles, you get a smoother stream, none of that cluck cluck clucking.
Nice to see that I am not the only one using a pipe wrench for none pipe tasks...both projects are coming along nicely! Great content and a great group of folks!
Guys, you have saved and created a beauty! I love old Chrysler cars! Way to go, and thank you for sharing it with all of us!
Man that car is sweet. I’d love to win it. However, I think it’d be way more fun to see Ben get this car. A gift from Paul and fam and fans!
Diggin' that whole Coronet build! A drive to central Oklahoma is what that car needs!!!
The CRUE sticker is pure stoner heavy metal madness. Every Coronet in 1983 had a Van Halen, Black Sabbath or Crue sticker on it. Roach clip hangin' from the rear view and my girlfriend in the back waiting for some action. I miss those daze. Rock'n'Roll brothers. Heathens unite!!!!
My favorite CZcamsrs..
FABRATS: They do it so nice I watch it twice 😎
I think there may be a curse!! 🤔🙏
You can tell you guys are brothers work great together and a little rivalry never heard anybody
I'm sure whoever wins this is gonna b a happy camper. Paul and gang, u guys rock.
Funnel tip, the spout from a DEF jug screws onto a anti freeze jug and has the duck bill valve in it to let air in to pour with.
I imagine pentagrams never bring good luck. Nice call on that. Good times in the future!
If I win this car, I'm gonna find everyone of you who commented about removing the sticker, drive it over to your place and trench your front yards, the vintage crue sticker was awesome
We I didn't comment on the sticker, and trenching my yard might be hard. It's solid flint rocks.
Man how cool would it be to own the Coronet 😎
This old man still in love with that MOPAR, one sweet ride, maybe it'll come to me in Texas, keep up the good work
The lead guitar for Motley Crew (Mick Mars), Is Bob Deal. We went to high school together in Westminster CA. We even shared a house at one time, He was extremely talented we all knew he would make it into the big time, I was kind of disappointed when I found out he was with the Crew, he could have been in a so much better band.
Awesome car someone will really enjoy the car and I hope they keep it just like it is
Wait what!?!? Why take the LUCKY Motley Crue sticker off??
Wow, another compliment for Ben. Did he just say Ben was the better mechanic? It must be something Paul just doesn't want to do.
Paul is just like Robby Layton with his perfect alignment of the front bumper :)
I’m confused on why you guys didn’t do the bushings and ball joints when you did the disc brake conversion? Double work!
Done Nice cause it's Done Twice 👌
Hunter is cool, I miss Randall though. Hope he is doing well.
Me too Randall always had the right thing to say at the moment
Hey paul, i thought you would like to know that you truly inspired me. To buy a welder, learn how to weld and build something!. So far, first build was an extra large sunbed, which turned out awesome, after paint and plenty of grinding. lol. and now some tables to hold plant pots. also lots of grinding makes me look like a pro. And i love it and wanted to thank you and everybody on the show.
Love your work. If you like gauges in the dash, a useful gauge that few ever use, but tells you much about the operating condition of your engine is an intake manifold vacuum gauge. It tells you how your timing is, the condition of your intake system like valves and valve guide, vacuum leaks and carburetor system where the optimum throttle position is for cruising. It's worthwhile to have.
I personally love the Motley Crue sticker but that’s just my personal opinion
Ok Paul be honest, Do you want the telehandler to use as a savage forklift or are you thinking another rock crawler? It would make an insane rock crawler, 4 wheel drive and they have a high and low range, 4 wheel steer, they have great ground clearance and low slung so not top heavy. They only have one seat but without the boom you would have room for more.
And.... They weigh 20,000 - 30,000 lbs. Should leap up those rocks like a Gazelle !!
Now the other side.... LOL! Good one Ben. No idea how many times I've felt the same. Followed with yeah right.
14:13 that's a Stand to put your RC Car on to work on it, or to store it, the Soft Crawler tires with foam inserts get flat spots real quick if you let them sit for a couple weeks
