Who else is stoked about the auto-detect log feature? What log camera profiles would you need for future?
I wish this feature could follow sequence instead of all project
If I enable this feature in a new project, but then open an old project, the log cuts with lut in old project will look like a mess

My R6M2 set the material not right as clog3 but as rec709, so i have manualy correct this. So what mistake I made? For me the LOG interpretation feature is absolutely great.
I go through so many channels and tutorials for work and I gotta say when it comes to Premiere after 20 years using it you are one of the best. Not only do you bridge the old school thinking into new approaches you show where it's going intuitively with faster smarter procedures I find so valuable. Thanks for always keeping us informed and educated. Would love to hear your take sometime on the number of creators ditching Premiere Pro for DaVinci Resolve. I think it's "shiny new thing" syndrome to a degree but would love to hear from someone who runs a Premiere channel.
As a premiere user CS5.5 - CC19 that is now more or less a full-time resolve editor...
Without going into any depth resolve is not something new and shiny. To the contrary black magic has been developing foundational support for the software since the inception of the edit tab. Laying the groundwork for so much scalability I think means we will see a lot of bells and whistles to come. But it's a solid editor 100%. And for color there is no comparison to anything Adobe offers. Because premiere is legacy software it's hard to recreate adaptable systems for color in the way resolve exists, Being a colorists program first. I didn't realize what a big deal this was until I started learning resolve, which opened up the world of color (an insanely deep topic, after 4 years I've barely scratched the surface).
There's a ton to say, but workflow possibilities are super flexible in resolve and that's huge.
The 1 exception: Fusion is not great. Not even really good in some cases. There is NO replacement for after effects. But once we open that can of worms we are comparing one piece of software to an entire suite of software. Not apples to apples.
Definitely give it a look if you have the bandwidth. Black magic is an amazing company. They produce phenomenal products end-to-end

I've been testing Firefly all day (...just received permission for the beta this morning) and really putting it to the test. Amazing! And, I quite agree...it should be used to create something that takes hours to make manually or searching for hours online. However, there are some glitches. For example, when generating images of people, some portions of the bodies are distorted (i.e., like the face, arms or hands). Still, in beta so I hope they work out the kinks.

The storyboard feature is pretttty nice.
I have been testing Firefly for the last few days. The results were wonderfully horrific! I was asking for things like woman playing cello in dark forest and getting back a woman with disjointed face, imploded mouth etc and her arm was the bow or non-existent. Often the cello was under her chin like a violin. For me these were inspiring and very usable for a music video and my feedback to Adobe was very positive - until I realised that maybe they didn’t want the image to be so distorted!! Try ‘pigs with wings flying’ and add option like photo, Sci-fi or something and you should get evil pigs with three ears and at least one with no wings. Great fun!
How do you apply to be a BETA tester? Not finding that via Adobe interface...

How is this Auto Detect working? I went to preferences/General --> activated the button for AutoDetect, but there is no difference in my timeline.
It's working now! Just needed more than 2 restarts :D

I loved how you showed your searching for planets. How did you do that effect with the typing and the moving box?
You can animate a mask to move from left to right over text. then we used my handheld camera presets from my toolkit on top of it to make it wiggle.

I don't have insight in time-frames, but I do know Adobe has a partnership with Fujifilm and Frame.io (with camera to cloud to support), so I'm sure only in time!

This is my personal opinion - lose the HUGE levier mic. I know they are very much promoted everywhere but it does not look good, it is so "in you're face" mic. A mic attached to a person's clothes should not be so noticeable.

Yes, we select the clips and make a smaller subsequence, auto-transcribe the subseq and use submachine.

I have a critical question for you. I have edited a music video and rendered it. While listening the audio sync is perfect with no delays at all.
However once this is uploaded to CZcams there is a significant delay in audio. Can you please advise me the possible reasons for this?
Thank you for the LUT info. Any ideas why when I export through Adobe Media Encoder the LUT is not added? All my footage looks flat.
This was happening even before adding the LUT this new way.

This is a very useful video. However, I do have a question. Do you have any videos as to how to fix grainy zoom video from your smartphone? You know how, depending upon what type of smartphone you have I guess, when you zoom in very tightly and it appears very grainy? Is there a solution for this method? Is there any way to fix this? I have this issue for 2 months now Premiere pro 2023 licensed. My essential graphics pannel when I browse and search for the specific morgt it doesn't shows up. The keywords I searched was right and my own morgts can't be search as well. I have to manually scroll down through to see that specific mogrt, some of it I already a star to book mark my favorites. Any encounter this issue? How did you resolved it?
Hie Kelsey gal, I am also user of a premium pro software. my questions to you are that once the audio has been unlinked and removed from the clip and after that the audio has been deleted, but the need was also for Audio and as much as he has trimmed, the audio got cut and it should be used again. How to replay audio after?
I had issues with the "Auto Detect Log Footage" interfering with my color calibration. Waiting for some advise from CZcams, but glad I don't have to fiddle with LUTS
Tried and gave up on Version 23, again. When it came out, it continually crashed on my laptop and pc. This recent update, I tried and yay, it ran and I produced one video last week. This week, colors are all gooned up again, it won't load a LUT, and it won't adjust exposure using the curves and waveform. And I'm using proxies. Back to version 22.

Silly footnote: FCPX had this back in 2011, along with background exporting, rendering and a bunch of other features Adobe is just now adding. It either shows how forward thinking Apple was, or how behind the times Adobe is. I almost exclusively Premiere for work, because the industry abandoned Apple.
@@timthompson9246 Oh that is interesting. But he still had to transcode every single bit of footage before I even starting to edit on FCP. I couldn't stand FCP and I'm glad that the industry abandoned it or Apple abandoned it, whichever it was

Would have been nice for Auto-log to be a sequence setting rather than an overall Preference. DJI's version of log is something I use frequently, which sounds like it'd be problematic.

Premiere Gal, I've been watching you for years! Question: I've been searching CZcams but can't find an answer to this: I exported an image sequence from Unreal, when I import it in Premiere, even though I change the 'image duration' to 1 frame, each image is still 2 frames in the timeline, causing my image sequence to play 50% slow. Do you know how I can actually get 1 frame per image when I import images into Timeline?
