I just did a dyno tune for the car with this exhaust as the only modification. It used to have a small drone when accelerating between 2-3k rpm and it's gone after the tune. It wasn't bothering me at all before the tune tho. sounds way more pure now. Deep and pure. Tomorrow in getting a crackle tune too. Will upload a video as soon as convenient.
Mine had an N1 on it from the previous owner, after comparing it with pics online they have had resonators welded in just before the exit. Sounds pretty good and no drone on mine, so pretty happy with it. Had an N1 in my Celica and even with the baffle it was pretty droney
I've actually never heard the gemini in person, so I wouldn't be able to give a comparison. Maybe test pipes or hfc would increase volume if you don't already have them?
I have a 2015 nismo and im seriously considering purchasing this exhaust system. Would you say its worth it? How has it been now that youve had some time with it installed? Id like to know how it compares to the Gemini as well
Definitely worth it. For a sub $1000 true dual exhaust system, you can't go wrong. I've only grown to like it more over time and I figure if you want it to be louder than it is, then you can always throw test pipes on it. I can't comment on the Gemini exhaust as I have never heard one in real life. I guess it just comes down to if you like the look of the dual mufflers as opposed to the single central muffler better.
The nismo exhaust is still pretty quiet and tame, so i really want to open her up more. I am hoping this exhaust can do the trick esp at the price its at, as well as hopefully adding a little hp.
Im the same Matthew. Got the nismo but I'm torn between the gemini or the n1. I'm worried the gemini will b too quiet and the n1 will be too loud lol. I haven't heard either of them in person
@@zamqt_ Hi mate, did you get the N1 or Gemini in the end? I'm torn at the moment between the 2 of them, I'd go for the N1 if I'm sure it's louder than the Gemini as that is a bit quieter by all accounts.
@@chrisperry5244 hey mate. Ended up getting the n1 but there was too much drone for my liking. Went back to stock about a month later. You might be ok with that though so don't let that put you off. Everyone is different, that was just my opinion. If I could do it all again I would of got the gemini but like I said I think I'm looking for a quieter system then what most people want/like. Good luck 😃
Cold start is a bit loud, but I wouldn't think it would piss off the neighbors too much. At least, mine haven't complained yet... It's more aggressive for sure, but it's tolerable and won't give you a headache.

Andrew Buccieri im getting this exhaust in 2 weeks period, waiting to get paid haha. I had this in mind beside the Q300. I liked this one more because it is a bit louder. I'm i right? Do you have any info/experience with the Q300? Also, did you find this one raspy a bit? Or no
@@AlbertZora I have not heard the q300 in real life, so not sure on the volume difference in the two systems. Definitely not raspy, sounds perfect IMO.

@@zamqt_ I'm not sure if the sound changed or I just got use to it. I do feel like it mellowed out a bit over time, but I know if it was much louder than it currently is, then I probably wouldn't like it as much. One reason I'm a little hesitant to throw HFCs on it too.
A Normal Guy I don't like my exhaust to be quit as well, this one is the best exhaust that gives the VQ scream its unique tone. Its loud but not raspy at all. Deep and no drone when speed is fixed, and you also get nice rumble when downshifting and changing gears.
Albert JZ I see, but to be honest I think all exhausts that has resonator and muffler will give it a nice deep tone and VQ noise. I used to have a catback about a few months ago and it was too quiet for me.
A Normal Guy what did u have?? I live in Australia and all other exhausts with muffler and resonator sounded shit on it, i found this a good option. Another LOUDER one is motordyne tdx, but I wouldn't spend 4k on it.

I'm interested in the exhaust set up as well. Do you have any rattles? Did they have to remove the evap canister?
No rattles and I don't believe the evap canister was removed.
Is this with stock cats? And would you say it isn’t as loud, as in where cops would be a bother?
Yeah, stock cats. I haven't been pulled over for it and i would describe it as comfortably aggressive. Def not too loud.
