I Actually Bough this exact espresso machine a year ago. I upgraded: the portafilter, tamper, WDT tool,. I bought the KinK6 Grinder and I use locally roasted espresso beans. I dialed in my shot very well. 40g in 25-30 seconds off of 17g of expresso. Love it.
I have had this machine for over a month. I love it. Crema is real. I grind my own beans in a cuisine art burr grinder at the 2nd from the smallest setting. I also use paper filter inside the portafilter to prevent any possible clogging of the screen. Espresso Nazis make it sound like making espresso is a rocket science, but it's really not.
The coffee enthusiasts are going nuts 😂. I have this machine and it’s bloody wonderful. Oh I need a stainless steel tamp. How about using pre ground beans? You filthy urchin! It’s make quality coffee enough said.
Mine seems to "brew" way to large a shot. 14 gm coffee should be around 28-34 gms shot. My 2 cup setting running 75 mgs + = too weak. Steamer seems powerful enough, but its a bugger to get silky late art level milk. ? Also, pressure never seems to get to middle, Always under any grind size or tamp pressures at barely min. gauge says for espresso. Again ???

I hv a same machine, but always failed to make silky smooth milk, may i know how much time do u need to steam the milk? Thank u
15-20 seconds to aerate then put the wand back into the milk. make sure you have a vortex going to break down the bigger bubbles into a mircrofoam

How do you get the top to heat the mugs? Mine isn’t doing anything.

It has a cup warmer? I have one and I don't see anything about this feature in the manual or on the machine 🤔
When you say "no dialing in" it's presently clear that there was no attempt at dialing in. But the pre-ground part also made that obvious as well.
