A few days CZcams put an Ana Popović video in my recommended list, for who knows what reason as I had never heard of her. I have been watching Samantha Fish, Justin Johnson and Joe Bonamassa videos for months, so why now?
Anyway the timing was perfect because, thanks to the serendipity of CZcams, in a few days I will be seeing her play live as she tours through my corner of North Carolina. :)
This is the first I've heard this song since the Paul Butterfield Blues Band.

As soon as Warren starting sliding it conjured up visions for me of The Allman Brothers. To my mind Anna's sliding sounded an awful lot like Elmore James. Thank you so much for putting this up, truly a joy to behold.

A fact for all listeners who are not familar with Ana Popović's skills: Track five named "Slideshow", on her album 'Unconditional' from 2011, was done with Sonny Landreth, the king of slide guitar.
saw her last night in san diego, she opened for robert randolph...BLISTERING blues froma girl that can gig with the best of them.
red hot from start to finish...her set with robert was a damn lesson in rockin' and rollin'

Theos Sideris wrong sir - just because Warren asks you to sit in doesn’t mean you r deserving of respect ie can play. I’ve seen a lot of half ass musicians sit in with Warren and his various bands over the year. Warren is just too damn nice. Guy named Dick easter from Vermont sat in with Mule 10 14 01 in Portland, Maine. He was beyond embarrassing. I could give u dozens of examples I’ve seen with my own eyes.
Then again, you're assuming they'd allow her to play so she could be clearly heard. This is largely krap as far as I'm concerned.
