I been out of church for a minute now but this is food for my soul. I was brought up in pentecostal church but my husband is a Baptist, the very quiet and don't even breath hard kind of Baptist. I've tried to go but I can't feel anything but sad when I go there with him. I miss CHURCH , the kind that let's the holy ghost have its way.
I’m grew up Baptist but we were NEVER quiet. They call us Bapticostal and that’s fine with us. It don’t matter what’s your denomination is as long as you’re serving JESUS THE TRUE AND LOVING GOD. I want to encourage you to seek God with everything in you. Be the one to lite a fire in that quiet Baptist church and watch God change things. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

@@Phone-hi6bs Well I did grow up in an old school church and currently attend a Holiness church, and I have to say that I couldn't tell you, even if you held a gun to my head, what kind of shoe, open toed or not, anybody in my church has on. I couldn't tell if you they're elbows were out either. I'm too busy trying to get my instruction, my praise, and my fellowship as I run this race, trying to make it in, to be looking around the church at who got on what. I remember being admonished growing up not to snap my fingers to church music. I be poppin my fingers now because my God is worthy enough to be praised with hand clapping, feet stomping, finger poppin, tongue clucking, knuckle cracking and anything else that makes noise while giving Him praise. Some folks spend so much time looking at the outer of other people that they miss cleaning up the mess that exist in their own hearts.
What a blessing! No super tight clothes, cups of makeup nor weaves hanging on the floor! Just some good old fashioned worship! You can see the power of the Lord in this worship! Bring it back!
This is the type of church I grew up in when I lived in Brooklyn. Boy do I miss the old school praise. That God your church has not let this type of praise die out. Hallelujah.
