I enjoy watching your thrifting videos, especially the ones about jewelry and nice handbags. It's a blessing for you to be able to do what you do. Sellers have the same opportunities that you have when it comes to visiting various thrift stores, so when you see things that you really like, buy them; competition is a good thing. Maybe it would encourage more sellers to get out there to search for the kinds of items that you find. If Jesus had naysayers and critics, we would have them, too. No one can satisfy everyone, so just be true to yourself. Unfortunately, some people choose not to keep their negativity to themselves. You don't live with those people and they don't pay you, so don't worry about them. Keep up the good work, and be of good cheer.

There’s always people who are going to complain. I think it’s great that you can show people and explain how to identify quality. So many things are made to be disposable nowadays. There are people soooo lazy they want you to tell them what to buy,where,how much,when ,how and you send them the item properly wrapped. I considered you a genius only for giving out all the information we LEARN and for FREE.

I leave a lot behind as I don't want to clutter my home. I only buy what I think I'm going to use. It's not always easy to leave things in the shop...

Trust me, Goodwill and most large thrift stores are not re-pricing their items because of Dr. L.'s suggested resell advice. If you look at what they THINK is valuable in the locked glass cases, you will see.

I also wanted to tell you that you’ve been an incredible blessing in my life. Not only do I get a kick out of watching you and listening to you when I’m working. You’ve taught me so much and I have found myself picking up items that I wouldn’t even have considered to resell because you have mentioned them or covered them in some kind of a program or show And it’s stuck in my head and I love your appraisals as well. You’ve appraised a couple of things for me, and both items sold for more than what you appraised them for which was awesome. So I don’t care what the naysayers say. In the haters, I love you and your work, and I truly think you are an incredible person for sharing all your knowledge and working so hard.
I like your Shop With Dr. Lori you tube videos. Other "shop with me " antique , thrifters and you tubers take us there but you have the credentials that we need. There will always be folks that are never happy or are not appeciative and will never learn. This is their loss. Thank you and your staff for the gift of knowledge that you share with us.
They are complaining, because they don’t want the Goodwill to “mark up prices,so that they can’t sell their “finds” to make a “profit”.

I think your videos are educational , I've learned so much by watching and have shared with others, anyone that thinks your videos in goodwill are changing the hunt for us is wrong, you don't control who works in the back doing the pricing,anyone that complains about it and thinks in that negative manner is immature and greedy! I don’t understand most of these complaints. First of all, most resellers on CZcams state where they are shopping and also try to educate watchers about their finds. Is everyone going to agree on every find or price? Of course not! BUT, you are all providing us watchers an education, so folks should appreciate that! You have a lot of knowledge to share, and I for one appreciate it!
I LOVE them - I'm not a seller, just a novice collector. They help me identify what is a keeper and what is a "leave behind". Where you thrift does not matter - to me - please keep them coming!!!

I love your thrift store videos! I think you are fair, and I learn a lot from your shopping. I thought the “my store shelves are full and I can’t find things easily” complaint was funny. Truly, it seems like some folks are missing the point of your videos. Keep on being you and being transparent about your location. Don’t stop the ‘thrift with me’ videos! They are my favorites. I’ve learned so much about how to determine quality and pick those up and to know when to leave the item for someone else.
You recently taught me about the interesting handles on English tea cups, and I was thrilled to see one in person on my next thrift store visit. I’m not a reseller, but, like you, enjoy shopping. Dr. Lori, I love watching and learning from your videos! My younger daughter is interested in mid-century dishes and glassware. For fun mother daughter days we hit the thrift and antique shops up to see what we can find. Needless to say, if I find something valuable I tell her ‘Dr Lori’ says! I feel that you do a great job airing out and processing the negative feedback. It's like doing the group house keeping together. Learners are neuro diverse and you are artful at explaining your pedagogy, values, and boundaries. The education to be obtained by you is a huge service and represents a big bag of gold. It's great that you check in with us and loop everyone in. BTW, I enjoy hearing the location of those places and the content from the thrift stores. It's helped me identify some kitchen boxes in my own storage from family members. It's been delightful to take CZcams breaks and learn more things from you. Thank you so much for all your presentations. I'm truly enjoying you thrifting segments; like having a day out shopping. We all should remember that the tnrift stores are not our enemies. Many are worthwhile charities, staffed by dedicated volunteers, funding good work. They dont owe you the lowest prices. I find they try to price fairly for both resellers and community members who need the items for their own families.
You have to get dirty when you are looking for treasures.

I love your thrift with me videos!! I wish I had 1/16th of the knowledge you do. I live in Syracuse, NY, just went thrift shopping tonight and was honest to God thinking I wish Dr. Lori were here to shop with me because I think you would be a blast to shop with! I look at items in the store so differently now and can’t wait to get home and research all of my purchases.
