Restaurant That Served Meat Goes Vegan, And Makes More Money! - Pow Pow
HappyCow's Ken Spector interviews the owners of the vegan restaurant Pow Pow in Washington DC.
Pow Pow opened in 2016 as a veg-option restaurant. They converted to an all-vegan restaurant in 2018, and opened a Pow Pow in the Franklin Square area of DC in November 2022. They also own Bubbie's Plant Burgers. Learn how they have had such amazing success!
This interview was conducted when Covid-19 was more prevalent than it is now, but cases are edging up again during the winter of 2022 (many cases are not being reported due to the prevalence of testing kits). The HHS in the USA is encouraging mask use again at the end of 2022. The unedited version of this video was shown during Ken's speaking engagement this past year to help restaurant owners trying to make their restaurants more vegan-friendly or completely vegan.

Hello Andrea. Have you heard of Veganz? They have loads vegan cheeses n Germany. www.happycow.net/reviews/veganz-berlin-37940 (they have other branches too) I would recommend asking someone in that store what they recommend. If you do not live near Berlin, you can try a recipe online for vegan mozzarella.
