The vertigo problem is an odd thing but not uncommon. I recall my mother had it and was laid up in bed for a week. That was years ago but I remember we kids had to tip-toe around because even startling her could make her dizzy again. Last fall I was in the hospital for a few days and my roommate was in for this. I heard them giving instructions for rehab but didn't pay close attention since I was dealing with my own problem.
I think my favorite of the collection of your favorites is the Kathy Barrick Swirls chart. I haven't picked it up yet but it's definitely on my must have list. I like the linen that you are using for your Prairie Schooler remembrance piece. And the idea of making it very much your own.
Here's praying for your Dad's complete recovery. Chemo is no fun. I had a friend go through it years ago. She lost her hair and tried wearing a wig but found it too hot most of the time so resorted to scarves done up beautifully instead. Her appetite was all over the place but usually she wanted little to nothing for a few days after treatment. And some food tasted odd at times. She eventually moved back to Illinois because her family was there. Since her type of cancer became a chronic thing though not fatal, she felt being near family best so she could manage when she had to take chemo treatments. You are doing a wonderful thing in visiting your Dad so often. I know he vastly appreciates it.
I had a cat that had breast cancer (yes, check your female kitties for lumps! I discovered it before the vet did.) and she went through chemo. Oddly enough, cats and dogs do much better with chemo than humans do including no hair loss although their appetite is altered for a day or so--could be less or could be more hungry; just never know---and often more fatigued for a day or so.

The shoe pin-maybe just put it on a project bag? I decided a few years ago to put a pin on each of mine because they are frequently available at events and venues, but I too do not use needleminders as I stitch in hand.
Gee thanks, Liz. I had to stop your video and go over to Tiger Lily. 😂 I signed up for the bag class. I can sew and have been making quilts for over 20 years, but putting in a zipper makes me weak in the knees. Hopefully this will get me over the zipper phobia and on to making bags from the drawer of fabric purchased specifically for project bags. Your birthday trip sounds like such fun.

I’m sooooooo bad at posting to IG too. I do it in my head a LOT but don’t want to use stitchy time to post 😂 My 1st market start & finish was your Cottontail in the Indigo colorway. I was determined to get it done by Easter but I ended up finishing it Easter night so close enough or so my 19 yr old son allowed 😜 Maybe now I can get back to your Dimesions SAL (& maybe start a 2023 or 2024 Market release). So nice of you to be there for your dad. I did cancer treatments in 2020 & that 1st week after each chemo session was always the worst. You are an amazing daughter!

Liz, not sure if you noticed, but the Lowery also has an adapter for the table so you don't need the entire stand. It should be on Lindy Stitchers site.Thanks for sharing. Take care.

I am curious…. On full coverage designs, why does Liz replace the Aida with linen? The fabric won’t show and I stitch faster on Aida. I am guessing it is just her personal preference. This was a fun video, love the Shoe House!
