WNBA to Stream Angel Reese's Chicago Sky Games after fans' Complains

- Angel Reese and her Chicago Sky Women Basketball games will now be streamed on the WNBA App. This is after fans complained of unfair treatment because while Caitlin Clark and her Indiana Fever games were streamed on the app free of charge while Chicago Sky's games were not shown anywhere. It took a lot to have this drastic change! With the new wave and popularity of women basketball, fans should always have a chance to watch their favourite games.

I heard it was 2 million. Not sure if it was 2 million on 1 stream or multiple, but news is now saying 2 million. That's why the WNBA is now showing it, because they realised how much money they lost.
And YET....the stands were mostly empty....

That's to tell you that Clark is only a media baby if there were not people gathered elsewhere trying to watch her play except those in the arena and the media to push it on children's faces so that their parents can take them to her games
It wasn't a mistake . It was done on purpose . The wnba is behind one player .
If that is the plan, then I can see that the viewership numbers will slowly drop over the course of the season.
If that was the plan then it is the most stupidest marketing decision ever. So many people (because of the Caitlin hype) watched this year's draft class and got to know about the other players. If they were smart, they should be showcasing all of the preseason games. Whoever is the marketing director for the WNBA needs to be fired!
They underestimated Reese's influence on the sport and we the fans showed them we are not children to be forced to watch someone we don't want to or pressure our parents to take us to her game simply because of what we see in the media, we are organic, choose to support Reese because she brings entertainment to the sport for us.
Then WHY were the stands so empty? BTW, don't watch if you don't want to. I am POSITIVE you had no problem with Deion and Colorado being shoved down everyone's throats last year--even though they lost two-thirds of their games. All you people do is cry. You even see racism in the white clouds. Sucks to be you. What a pathetic, bitter and miserable existence.
😂They made a big mistake, Angel Reese is the goat. They tried to make people see KC. This w 2:37 2:37 as done intentionally.. This was not an over sight. It was done, because of racisim. They did not want people to see Cardosa and Angel Reese because their would be more people watching their game than KC. The WNBA Dallas Wings have “made history before their regular season even begins” with a sold-out preseason exhibition against the Indiana Fever on Friday. People did not go to the game to see the Wings, there went to see Caitlin. If Caitlin was playing at the Target Center she would have sold out. Do some reading folks. CC has been selling out every venue she has played in for the last two years.
