    I stuck it out through the whole thing!! Great barn to paint, lots of subtle color changes that most people would miss. Thank you!

    Interesting about cloudy days. Im attracted to paintings with grey skies, because it shows mood or activity I guess, like nature is up to something rather than a plain blue sky which is almost like nature in neutral.

      Grey skies definitely have a different mood than sunny days.

    Yes, Paul McCartney. Mary, his mother came to him in a dream, telling him, Let it be. Love the Beatles! In regard to your lessons is the format and instruction like this video?

      Thanks for the Beatle's knowledge! Yes, the lessons are like the video but with even more detailed information, hands-on advice, and personal feedback.

    Wonderful work - I 'm curious as to why you painted the silo leaning to the left as it is in the photo (?)

    • @JasonTako
      @JasonTako  Před 3 lety

      Thanks! No logical reason for painting the silo that way, it just happened. I was more concerned about capturing the lighting than architectural correctness.

    Nice painting Jason! Thank you for sharing with us. I have a question did you know the person in whom you were on or near the property you painted. I would like to know please. Thank you Jason.

      Hi Dee, I'm not sure why you would want to know that.

    • @dweaverart
      @dweaverart Před 3 lety

      Because for I would like to paint out in a rural area near farm land where there are silos without tresspassing.

    • @dweaverart
      @dweaverart Před 3 lety +1

      I thought may be you knew the person who owned that property in order for you to paint that scene. I wasn't asking for the person's name or location.

      @@dweaverart Hi Dee, that's understandable. With this particular painting I was right off the side of the road, but it was a very slow, rural road with hardly any traffic and no center line, so I was pretty safe and still on public property.
      There are times when I have to stand on private property to paint. In that case I will bring along a business card, knock on the door and ask if I can stand on their property and paint. I don't ever recall being denied; most people are curious and delighted. I've even had some people bring me cookies and hot chocolate while painting. I always just make sure I clean everything up. If you are standing on nice lawn be aware that you could wear a spot in the lawn, so be careful. Good luck!
