It’s big time fun nonstopped
shootout arcade gamer
Respect your opinion but I don’t know HOW you can pick Overdose over the original. It’s full of glitches and several game-breaking bugs, strips away a lot of the personality, loses the excellent soundtrack, and turns all the cutscenes into 2D talking heads. Hell, even the action is broken in several sections, forcing you to cheese your way out. It feels super unfinished whereas the original feels like it accomplishes everything it sets out to do, even if it’s a smaller and more condensed package overall.
It's probably the little bump in complexity? But yeah, overdose is such a mess. The frame rate is god awful, it looks so much worse, both lock ons are terrible and level design is bad
kid me would have gone crazy for these games, never heard of these games but i regret never hearing nor playing them back then
I have them all except the VR one. Not cheap games to buy now days but essential to anyone's ps2 collection. Thank you sir well done
I found it on sale for 10€ on steam a few days ago and I loved "GG OD".
And I tell you: You missed out by not playing Juji and especially Rocketbilly.
You described it pretty good, it´s a mindless shooter, but sometimes you don´t need more xD
I´m at the first "hard point" for me: It´s the level where you stand on this container whichs moves forwards and on your left and right side are tons of enemies and these rocket launcher towers... first death for me.
Gore updates fixed a lot of its gameplay problems, it’s a good game.
I Love gungrave❤❤❤
It's weird that you didn't mention the first update to this game, which fixed a lot of issues.
Even when it fixes a lot of issues (and I really didn't expect that many changes), it still doesn't fix a lot of some of the major issues.
Mainly the terrible platforming, weak sound design, terrible progression and the rough looking visuals.
I know they did fix one platforming sections, but not all of them. And the filter doesn't really make the game look better. The only way to fix the visuals is with a massive patch overhaul. Which probably won't be in a patch. Maybe an updated edition like DmC Devil May Cry Definitive Edition
Decent video. Wanted to know a bit more about this silly shooter I'm playing right now as it's leaving Game Pass soon. Cheers
Great fun game. Mindless arcade action shooter game in console. Thanks to igyy mob making it
Ah the good old days I never played the 1st one but I loved overdose
Gore maybe meh but god damn its fun cept for a few missions hell even the song time to kill from gore was one hell of a way to kick off the first levels. I wouldnt mind another anime attempt since triguns coming back as well
I knew of Gungrave for years, and a long time ago, I tried watching the anime. Recently, I finished it, and I got G.O.R.E, and I feel like the property would have succeeded as just an anime. I read up on all the games and their synopses just to grasp the "lore" and I feel if they retconned the animes more bitter ending they could have made an interesting franchise of expanded stories for Mika and Grave.
To be fair, the games and anime has always been very different with the stories. And not just how the anime shows the backstory. It also changes locations, character personalities and monster designs. I mean you dont see Grave fight Big Daddy in the Anime do you? Or the final heaven like stage
Game was made before anime , so tecnically games are the canon
Yes even the bad ones
have you watched gungrave anime? its one of the best video game adaptions ever
I like it it’s something they should really bring back into anime it will make the story make more sense to ppl but I understand it fully and I like it it’s really nice and interesting.
If you watch the anime gungrave, the story is actually really good, i totally recommend the anime. There are not many like it out there, has a great theme too. If u watch Gungrave make sure you skip the first episode and start with ep2.
@@REAPERGAMINGGR The first episode plays way too far ahead in the future. And the second one goes all the way to the past. It'll only make things strange if you watch it in that order. Maybe some spoilers too in the first episode.
@@AtsukoR33 ok so if i see the 2nd first when do i see the 1st? I remember seeing some episodes way back when but now i want to see the entire show
@@REAPERGAMINGGR You can watch the first episode after ep 17, though most of it is recapped in 18 i believe.
A few hours into GORE and idk this game is sick. Wouldn't call it mindless either. Difficulty gets real and gotta consider your approach. Then scoring s tier ranks needs even further planning and strategy. The auto aim makes it more significantly more tactical and strategic.
I fucking love this game, it makes me feel like a bad ass gunslinger
I got. The one On ps5 I saw the anime be4 I even knew it was a game seeing the anime made me want the game even more love how the game add its on twist I fuckin love this game I saw all the bad reviews and still bought it gives me that old ps2 vibe I was A big Devil may cry fan also so hearing people compare them contributed to me purchasing this game
I kinda hate how as the series progress, it looks worse. The first game is still the best looking one in the entire series
I think cartoon style is more suitable for gungrave series. The new episode change the 3d model, voice acting and cutscene not good at all,l. Fortunately, game play still fun😂
l have it and l am play it and l think it is okay game .. but it could have been a bit long game play
Gungrave gore is supposed to be hard? Isn't it pretty easy to beat?
1: Gungrave
2: Overdose
3: Gore
4: VR
Overdose goes into 3 just because VR is terrible at everything. Overdose is a terrible terrible game, but I do love the story's take and design except for when grave turns into a literal super saiyan.
Okay I know you made this video a year ago and you probably will know by now but bungie is Graves Apprentice watch the anime to know more
I'm a fan of the Gungrave anime and played the original PS2 game when I was a teen. It was an alright game. Now I have Gungrave, Gungrave: Overdose and Gungrave: GORE all on my Steam Deck. Going to see how they are starting with the first game and playing through to GORE.
gungrave gore the begging is slow and you have to play for like 4 hours before it gets fun there no challenge at begging at all. overdoes just gave you the the first level as tutorial then the fun begin the best thing about overdose was the bosses but gore the bosses are boring just doge doge doge oh love you have demolition points use a demolish skill doge doge doge, overdose you have to wait or maybe bait the boss or learn it's patterns. gore the boss just charge at you maindlessy and graves feels so slow
Hi.
Who noticed The World Map 2 Ost of "Legend Of Dragoon" in background at the intro of the video😍?
