I don't find a reason to buy an iPhone 8, 8+ or an iPhone X. I mean an iPhone 7 is still fast and the A10 is also is a fast processor and also isn't a fingerprint magnet with the matt black. And even though it only has LCD. It still is a pretty good looking display. I mean my iPhone 7 is very good in battery so no reason for me to buy the latest iPhones.
The new iPhone 9 and X plus will only have slight performance improvements compared to the iphone 8 Plus, according to Geekbench results that were just leaked. The single and multicore speeds on the A12 chipset are reportedly just 10 and 5 % faster compared to the A11 bionic chip (iPhone X (2017) - single core: 4206, multi-core: 10,123 iPhone X Plus (2018) - single core: 4673, multi-core: 10,912)- the lowest raw performance improvments seen on any chip found in both Android and iOS devices. However, ram will increase to 4 gb on the new iPhones, so that's enough for some people to switch. The main thing I'm trying to point out though, is that upgrading phones yearly isn't doing much for people anymore as we've hit sort of a ceiling on processor enhancements, so I would recommend not to upgrade to the new iPhones if u have an iPhone 7 or 8, as it's not going to be much of an upgrade if these leaks are true.
Andi Rema im on iOS 11.4, to me iOS 10.3 was the best for my iPhone 7plus coz of battery life a lil bit faster performance, but after a while I don’t even notice the difference, I’m not that heavy user on my iPhone that’s why I don’t think that I need an upgrade at least that’s my personal experience

I think the best phone is the one that we own and use. There is no need in buying a new phone just as year passes already when the old device works just as perfectly as ever. Besides consider an android phone that was released at that time... You can't even play basic games on it. But 4s still holds on its own. The iphone 7 is the best iphone to buy right now and even when the new iphones will be released in september. It is cheap. It is reliable. It did not have major problems. It has some similar technologies from modern iphones. You have 6 colors to choose from. And it's really powerful to have a big software support
I've had the iPhone 7 since 2016 and I have an upgrade on my contract so I'm gonna get a new iPhone 7 for two main reasons: 1. The glass back on the new models is a recipe for disaster, I've dropped my 7 a lot in the last 2 years and the scratches on back are minimal. I also prefer the matte look on the 7. 2. IMO it is the perfect size for a phone. The X (XS and XR)is slightly too big for my hands to the point were it's uncomfortable to hold and scroll with one hand.
I brought this iPhone on September 30th 2018 after I sold my iPhone 6s for $230 on Facebook marketplace and picked this one up for $280 in 128 GB unlocked off Letgo I love it. it last longer then my 6s did louder on calls and music water and dust resistant and lightweight plus that A10 fusion chip is jus killer thanks nick for your recommendation keep up the should you buy series

I have the 6s plus 64gb and it’s really fast no lags and other things with the battery I own it since release.The only problem is if you play games the battery drains out quickly.In my opinion it’s a reliable phone but go for the 64 gt because the less gb you have the more laggy it is going to be

Due to some unforeseen financial issues, I had to give up my Verizon IPhone 8 Plus. That phone was a beast. I went back to my S7 on straight talk and man I miss the iPhone so bad. Now looking at cheaper iPhone options to save up for.
By the way, IOS 12 is amazing on my IPhone SE. Un-optimized, yes, but that's to be expected. I personally am falling in love with the new polished animations and features. I also Put IOS 12 onto my IPad mini 4, and it sped things up considerably, such as scrolling through web-pages and CZcams it didn't chop and stutter anymore.
If all the iphone prices get shifted down with the new iPhones and brings the iPhone 7 to the price of the current 6s then yes I would definitely buy it bc 32 gb is fine and it's only 550 rn.
The 32GB 7 is a decent enough phone for me but I’m on my second iPhone. My first 7 died exactly 4 days after the one year warranty expired. Most likely the baseband cpu issue. I’m disappointed in the build quality and the terrible iOS updates. Hopefully they fix the issues in iOS 12 and hopefully this new 7 that I have doesn’t die.
