That back flip was so powerful that it generated a powerful gust of wind that quickly travelled from Dre's foot to the left side of the Asian kid then slightly downwards till it collided with the kid's face. At that moment the force generated from this gust of wind basically smacked the kid on the left side of his face causing his head to turn to the right and the sheer power of that gust of wind caused the kids legs to cripple below him resulting in him falling down.

If they had just called the movie "The Kung Fu Kid", everyone would still get it's a remake of the original and not have had a problem with it being NOT a Karate movie.

Kommt nicht mal ansatzweise an das Original heran und ist einfach das, was passiert, wenn du einen guten Film Neuverfilmen willst, dich aber nicht an das Original hälst! Traurig ist das, was dann am Ende dabei herauskommt.
