    Thanks for your videos. I purchased a 48 motoryacht right up the Trent River from you in New Bern. I had never run on the ICW so you all helped me figure it out. I ran north from there and am currently in Kent Narrows Maryland for refit. Keep up the good work and enjoy!

      We love New Bern and that area. So sad what happened to the place this past summer. Glad our video could provide you with a little nostalgia. Cheers!

    Love your videos....I was I lived on boat for 3 years, did 12k nm single handed on Ocean Alexander 510.....I pulled into that Alligator River Marina for a night. You are running some of same places I ran. I went up to Maine for a summer. Wish I'd had someone I loved with me, but I was doing it after a painful divorce and just had to go. There were so many times I would have enjoyed turning to someone to say "Isn't that beautiful".

    Hi guys, what is your Bimini made out of? It doesn't appear to be canvas....

      Hi David. It is some sort of Polycarbonate, we are not exactly sure what it is. It is light and easy to clean. It is screwed down to the aluminum framework. We like it a lot.

    Another great video. A little hard to hear about the steering/hydraulics issue. Can you provide more insight?

      @SearchingforCShels  Před 7 lety +1

      campbub she has Caterpillar 3208TAs. She will burn 23 gph at 19 knots. Our normal speed is 8 knots where the engines sip fuel at 3 gph total.

    First it was engine problems and now steering. I think it is time for a new boat.

    They are allowed to do it because, that's how crabbers make a living and provide for their family's. They take precedence over, and are far more important that the recreational boater! Now you know honey!!!!!

    • @SearchingforCShels
      @SearchingforCShels  Před 4 lety

      We all make livings for our families. Not sure that is an excuse to put crab pots in well travelled navigation route and channels. It is dangerous and stressful. Truckers on the highway provide for their families as well, and they are not allowed to make driving hazardous for other drivers.

      @@SearchingforCShels AS per your conversations, the pots were not in the channel! Be Safe, and be respectful!
