I have been using Bosch grinder for many yrs, not one has failed on me, one off best grinder if u use it carfully, dont allow dust to enter grinder, and dont force grinder with too much pressure, if grinder gets hot then stop let it cool, then use it again

I brought it after watching your video... I feel the head heats up really quick.. i mean i have run it for 5-10 seconds for testing after unboxing to check if its working and it heat up... Is it normal?
And the sound is not smooth... At start and while stopping i can hear dual sounds.... Is that normal too?

If you have work more then sanding work like Cutting, grinding, etc then you can go for Angle grinder,

Sir most of Companys makes there Angle grinder with Straight Bevel gear Box,
I think you can't find Spiral Bevel Gearbox for replacement,
But Yes, if you are determine to Modify, you need to go lathe shop, and make a perfect spiral Bevel gearbox for your angle grinder,
