The context is correct not to speak out in the church, in that setting in that time, the first gentlemen was correct, they sat on opposite sides and were not using proper jugement, they were distrupting the service by asking their husbands questions. I do not believe women were not learned, they were just not being wise and Paul was addressing their misconduct. You gentlemen read too much into this scripture. They were subjected to their husbands, they knew to direct their questions to them, it was just not in the appropriate setting. Wake up, let the Holy Spirit inspire you, He will give you the understanding. The first gentlemen had right. Blessings.

That was NOT the biblical position on the issue. I am not even going to use the word “interpretation”, when things are spelled out clearly in the Bible and reasons are given directly. All you have to do is search Scripture for parallel passages, since Scripture cannot be broken! Cannot be violated. Turn to 1 Timothy chapter 2 verse 14:
“And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.”
This is the real reason. Three verses before that it says the woman to learn in silence with all subjection. And next verse says verbatim that women are not to teach. Reason? Usurping authority over man. It’s not a cultural thing and it transcends both culture and time. It brings the issue all the way back to Adam and Eve. It does not originate in 1st century Judea. That means it is just as valid today!

They are pandering to females and today's culture. God does not anoint usurpation or tolerate feminism. He, like you stated, gives the reasons. It is consistent. God ordains a hierarchy and order in His Church. That's why lots of so called Churches have lots of titles and degrees but no Anointing, Gifts of the Spirit, and demonstration of the Power of God.
      1 Corinthians 11:7-9
7 For a man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God, but woman is the glory of man. 8 For man was not made from woman, but woman from man. 9 Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man.
16If anyone is inclined to be contentious, we have no such practice, nor do the churches of God.
This is part of the reasons why many are false preachers and teachers and will be in for a shocking rejection by Jesus Christ.
