started with tucker ended with tucker
The goat is here
@Keith Cousins we do not care
both in detroit
Those lions fans when the ball hit the crossbar and thought it was no good. Rip
Ironic isn’t
Tucker and Detroit, what a combination
He did it to the Lions TWICE at FORD FIELD
Justin Tucker Son’d the Lions.
He’ll be back there in 8 years to kick a 69 yard field goal just wait
Deadass serious I was in ford field in 2013 and had to watch that. Seeing it this year happen again was painful
The Giants and field goal game winners too.
I had no idea Justin Tucker had already kicked a 60+ yarder vs the Lions - he'll be showing up in their nightmares for years to come
@Keith Cousins yeah, haven't even watched it and I know it's ass
MCDC: I want him on my team now.
Its cause it's Detroit vs Everybody
Isn’t it ironic how two of the longest field goals in history happened against the Detroit Lions and the games ended by the same score?
God will do anything to make the lions lose in the worst way possible
The guy who hit it 64 is on the lions
@@poopoogamer1232🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
To All Lions Fans Karma's A B!tch
@@cjhehr Prater is on Arizona now
Being a kicker must be a total mindfuck. Completely overlooked, making extra points, sorta fading into the background, and then, every once in a while, you're the most important player on the field with the game on the line for a play.
I think about this a lot
Justin Tucker is the greatest kicker of all time. No other NFL kicker will ever make it from 66 yards.
He’s not the greatest kicker of all time vinatieri is
Only one who could possibly is Brett Maher who has made 3 FGs of at least 62 yards
Allow steroids & we’ll see it weekly.
Someone will make a 70 yarder at mile high or Mexico city. There have been multiple kicks there that had the distance to be good from that far out
i bet somebody could beat it
History has been made once again! Tucker proving he is the next Adam Vinatieri
What is this comment lol, Tucker passed Adam years ago. Adam happened to have alot of playoff kicks due to playing on the pats, but Tucker had been the best kicker of all time
Tucker already has clutch playoff kicks under his belt too, most notably the Denver game on their Super Bowl run
Vinatieri is overrated.
@@joshjohnson2753 nah, Tucker doesn’t have the rings to back it up. (and I hate the patriots)
@@Zack29810 Tying rings to a kicker is one of the funniest things I've ever seen, with all due respect. He got to play with the greatest QB of all time and arguably the 2nd-3rd greatest QB of all time lol. Harrison Buckner has 2 rings and another sb appearance due to playing with Patrick, does he rank higher then Tucker now since he has twice the rings?? Ring arguments for kickers make no sense. Lastly:
Fg percentage rankings:
Tucker #1
Adam #31
Tucker already a good amount more 50+ yard field goals then Adam, and has the highest fg percentage in NFL history for 50+ yard field goal. Every single number supports Tucker not only being the better kicker, but being the far better kicker lol
Justin Tucker was gift. But never forget how Billy C broke my heart in the AFC championship game
Good chance Tucker never becomes a Raven if not for that moment in NFL history tho!
@@supakewlryan we would have won the SB that year. Guess it had to come a year later
2:12 Greg Gumbel 1998 with Jason Elam
23 years later..
3:34 Greg Gumbel 2021 with Justin Tucker
Tucker is the most accurate, clutch, consistent, and holds the longest field goal record. And people still call Vinitary the greatest kicker all time 😂
Tucker will certainly wasn’t as clutch. The amount of playoff games and important games Adam won are astronomical not to mention kicks in the super bowl. Tucker will never come close to passing Adam in points either, just because tucker broke the record all of a sudden he’s the goat? Wrong
It was very valid to have viniteri above him which I did but this out tucker over finally
@@georgeworshington4120 if you look at the stats, tucker is up in each one of them. If your argument is that one kicker has more Super Bowl appearances then something is wrong with your arguement
@@georgeworshington4120 just looked at the stats. Your argument only holds up because you are looking at a 20+ year career vs a 9 year career. Tucker is more accurate ( reg season and playoff) and Super Bowl stats? Really? No shit AV had that, patriots were disgustingly good for a decade
@@georgeworshington4120 this comment wont age well
Was watching that detroit game sunday. I was so mad at the ravens, thinking they had blown such an easy win against a clearly inferior team. Than Tucker made that FG, I collapsed onto the floor and just screamed "OH MY GOD HE MADE IT!"
Having a great kicker is the 3rd most valuable thing a team can have, with a great QB at #1 and a great Oline at #2.
Was there a delay of game? yes
Should there have been a 5 yard penalty? yes.
Would he have made the field-goal from 71 yards? no
If you feel good about that........
SMH
@@wd2616 He would have made it from 71 anyway.
My jaw dropped when he hit the crossbar bc I thought he missed it, but I went ape shit when he made it. That was an amazing moment for a ravens fan like me
@@wd2616I agree that it would've been better if there hadn't been a delay of game, but all the same the situation arose and tucker pulled it off
@@wd2616 Who cares if there was a penalty? JT could make if from 99 yards if the game was on the line.
I gotta love Zurlein just because his is the only one they attempted as a choice. 10 minutes left in the second quarter and they sent on the field goal team. Thats awesome
Amazing to think Prater was drunk when he nailed that 64 yarder against the Titans.
What really? What’s the story behind that?
@@lanewood6885 he was an alcoholic and was coping with something if I remember right. It’s one of the reasons why he was cut by the Broncos. Just google Matt Prater Alcohol and I’m sure his interview will come up.
Very tragic, but one of our leagues great treasures of the position - by my two cents, prater is a top 5 kicker of his generation
Maybe he scored BECAUSE he was drunk.
the fact that Dempsey's 63 yarder & Tucker's 66 yarder we're against my lions means we can't ever get a break
Plus the same score 19 - 17
the kicking record was like a speedrun in gaming. lots of contenders at the top, the Tucker just GOATs himself by adding two yards to the record on a game winner.
For real it
Ola Kimrin kicked a 65 yarder in a 2002 preseason game with Denver. I know it doesn’t count in the record books but that was a monster kick.
Can you do a video on the History Of every NFL Team’s Mascot?
Damn Justin Tucker did the lions dirty twice in their home 8 years later 😂😂😂
I remember watching Janikowski hit them from 70 yards in practice, it was incredible.
bullshit
Lies
Not that big of a deal in practice when you don't have a defensive line in front of you trying to block it.
The only time in the game where the name of the sport actually makes sense
When I was a kid we never thought anyone would beat that 63 by Dempsey. Plus he had 1/2 a foot with a flat shoe front which almost made it illegal!
those uprights look huge on TV, but on the field from 60+ yards not so much.
in the yard at my parents house we had 2 trees about as far apart as goal posts and we tied a rope between them to serve as a crossbar and we would kick field goals at them. We measured out to 63 yards and yeah that space was tiny from that far away
Not only did it start with Tucker and ended with Tucker, it started against the Lions and ended with the Lions, and against the same team with the same player
Yessir giving respect to the kickers you love to see it
Always hate Jake Elliott hurting my Giants tho , like come on .. that 61 yard FG , just unbelievable
Tucker owns the Lions with two 60+ yard field goals.
Matt prater kicked a 62 yarder 2 weeks ago lol
Prater’s 64 yarder is more impressive.
1. Didn’t need the doink. His cleared it with room to spare.
2. Did it outdoors.
3. Did it when it was less than 20 degrees, otherwise known as “turn the ball into a rock” level cold. More than makes up for the BS altitude advantage.
4. Didn’t need the refs to miss a blatant delay of game penalty the play before.
Tucker's wouldn't have doinked if it was 64 yards...
@@heatedchair. Praters wouldn’t have doinked from 66. Your point?
Hope prater can try from 65 he might hit it
@@JABoyle3875 like they would use a ball for that kick that had just been sitting out there in the cold all day there are different specific kicking balls for a reason
and what the fuck does the delay of game have to do with how impressive the kick was
Couldn't help but notice how many of these historic kicks came at the expense of the Lions.
Kickers are not appreciated until the score is 20-21 with 5 seconds remaining 😂
2:39 Lmao that one off the crossbar, that's so crazy hahaha
No one gonna talk about how 1:33 looked like it would’ve been good from 70
Should be an Olympic event, just like pole vault.
The History of the Detroit Lions in
two words
"WHY ME"
every super bowl winner had a superior special teams almost. its so under rated and important.
I remember that David Akers one! Go Niners!
3:03 thats like a 70 yarder - it went well over and hit the net
Tucker the greatest kicker of all time
You gonna change your name if that doesn’t happen
I miss Greg on the Rams, Matt Gay is great and currently 6 for 6 but I still miss him.
3:35 WOW damn the last one ALSO off the crossbar!! 😮😮👍👏
David Acker’s face is just a thousand words 😱😱😱🤯🤯🤯🤯
I wish people today knew how consistent and for how long Elam was. He was money every single year for the longest time
The “ugh” to end the video was very understandable lol
*THREE* (a fitting amount) of these Kickers are players coached at some point during their careers by Special Teams wiz, John Harbaugh: Justin Tucker, Graham Gano & David Akers.
Tom Dempsey Will always be My favourite kicker ever. RIP
Ravens in the future: Justin Tucker making a 109 yard field goal
2:41 looks like he kicked it in
Fun Fact - there have been more kick made from 66yds than 65yds in NFL history
Technicaly a broncos kicker hit a 65 yard field goal in a preseason game but those don't count for some reason
Can't forget about Tom Dempsey's foot though. He had half a foot when he kicked that 63 yard field goal.
Tucker deluxe: Starts with Tucker, ends with Tucker
That last sigh. Every Lions fan felt that.
Bucs Announcer: Here's The Snap, The Hold, The Kick. It Is... Good? GOOD, GOOD, GOOD, Bucs Beat The Eagles, Matt Bryant Is My Hero! 1:22
That guy kicked a 66 yard field goal this weekend i was like what
Soccer players: Hold my Beer 🍺
Someone should set the record at 69 and it should be an unspoken rule that no one should break it
Gronk, is that you?
Matt Prater and Justin Tucker should be HOFers
I was sitting in that endzone for the Jake Elliot kick!
Dang, you guys were heckin ready for this
Instead of 66 yards should have been 68 yards, and during a Super Bowl game. The same situation of one second of time resting; and the team kicking be the *Cleveland Browns,* being 3 points behind on the score. So the game goes to extra time, and it is finally decided for the Browns by again another field goal; this time of 70 yards!! That would be a hell of a Hollywood movie.
Justin Tucker literally did a really great job. He was nervous to do a 66-yard field goal, but he actually did it. This is actually NFL’s longest field goal in history, Justin Tucker representing the Baltimore Ravens.
He is the kicker for the Ravens football team in the city of Baltimore.
Dempsey looks like he wasn't even trying, he practically walked up to that thing.
There was a kicker who made a 65 yard field goal in the preseason
A lot of kickers have the most normal first names. Justin, david, matt, ect.
That gano kicks would’ve been good from like 68 or 69 for sure.
Tucker got the Lions twice. Ice 🧊 cold
I was not expecting a straight leg kick to be in here
0:51 that kick by Zuerline looks like it would have been good from 71 yards! My goodness...that was the longest kick of them all.
Tucker at the beginning, Tucker at the end
Never forget the 66-yard field goal was attempted 3 seconds after the play clock expired
Matt Bryant has a boot of a leg
Yes he does.
Justin Tucker did it twice to the Lions in Ford Field
Absolutely just perfect timing tho
I wonder how many of these kickers would have the distance kicking in the thick humid air that Dempsey made his 63-yarder. It seems that if they weren't kicking in Denver they were indoors.
Humid Air is less dense, not thicker. Idk where the game was played but yes New Orleans is below sea level but idk where the stadium was.
@@christopherbiddle8127 Old Tulane stadium. It seated around 80k. It was demolished in 1979.
Tucker has multiple records. Next kicker for the HOF #RavensFlock
Francois Steyn hit a 60 yard drop goal that was so big it would have been good from 80
If you guys were to bet, do you ever think 67 will ever be done?
Francois Steyn has place kicked 70 yards in game, and drop-kicked nearly 72. So yes.
I can’t believe Justin Tucker can do that my favorite team was the person who kicked the 66 yard field goal Ravens
I thought this was a rare occurrence but then you showed it happening 20 times
I knew this video will come
The only way it will be broken is if Tucker gets a chance to kick one in Denver
Take Tucker to Denver and I guarantee he’ll break 66.
Life long Broncos fan. I remember those Elam kicks. Elam is so underated in the "greatest kickers" debate.
You should’ve put Rob Birona’s 60 yard game winning field goal against the Colts in 2006
Duing the tucker kick (ravens are my fav team) bro I was screaming so loud
Tucker's best kicks happened at Ford Field.
anyone else noticed that justin tucker also kicked a game winning 61 yard field goal against the lions in 2013 while also kicking a 66 yarder a couple weeks ago also against the lions
It’s also normal field goals too. The holder knee is down. Maybe the holder gets the pass??
SF Akers kick IDENTICAL to Tucker's 66 yarder. Just not as long. Tumbling, hits the crossbar, and tumbles through. EXACT same kick.
Dude gostkowski could have drilled a 70 yarder. What a monster.
If there was any doubt that Justin Tucker is the greatest kicker in NFL history, those doubts have been silenced
Tucker legally owns the Lions
I Give Respect for the kickers, their job is still important to the team, if Tucker missed, Lion would win, what a way to get the record on a game winner!!! Justin Tucker is the Goat of kickers!!!
Still important? You can argue only the QB is the more important position, these dudes defines the results of games
@@RRRRRRRRR33 shut up he was right
First off, Tom Dempsey's FG was way more impressive. Two steps, non-soccer style kick. Second, didn't realize most of these record setting, game winning field goals were against the Lions. lol
Tucker Is The Next Adam Vinitari Just More Accurate 🐐
New York Giants and Detroit Lions Pain Comp
66-IS-THE-RECORD--!!!
66 dang. Boys got a nuclear foot.
Biggest bomb on that list. All due to respect to Tucker, but the one that Gano kicked was an absolute missile. Would have easily been through from 66+.
bro u know whats crazy he made a game winning field goal on the lions twice
Justin Tucker is awesome
My team is the Ravens
