Finally done with my latest project. It took a long time to make but I'm happy with the result. Several details and secrets that're not shown in the video. I've been busy with my main work, so that is why you haven't seen as many videos on my channel as usual. I'm on a tight schedule because I want to have a video ready for Halloween. Let's hope I can make it in time. Thank you all so much!

I'm finally done with the build and I'm really happy with how it turned out. There're many repeating elements and sections, so this one will actually be "easier" than most builds, when it comes to creating a tutorial around it. But because time is limited, you will have to brace yourselves with a bit of patience. Halloween is coming up very soon and I have something I want to have ready in time. I completely understand that you're eager to build all of the cathedrals and castles I release, and I'm amazed that so many of you are willing to go through with it. Just incredible. But between other Minecraft projects, sudden projects for my main line of work coming up and cluttering my calender, and other private stuff, it's very difficult to keep up with demand. But if you're willing to stay around, the tutorials will come in time. It's a marathon not a sprint. The Mausoleum has been highly requested and others too, I haven't forgotten that.
The list of all the things I want to do with the channel is so long and is getting bigger all the time. As was the case the last couple of month, sometimes I post less. But there's nothing I want to do more than making builds and videos for the the channel, so hopefully this can become my main line of work some day, so I can build even more. Thank you for all the nice comments and all the support.
Oh I can wait, I am busy building the Dragon Palace right now and it is taking some time for me 😄
I have no trouble waiting. Going to build the Windmill for my personal farms storage area
Oh, i'm sticking around for good! Even if you choose not to make any more tutorials, I will still watch every one of your videos, in awe of your building prowess
No rush, I'm starting on The Sanctum today, so I will be busy for a few months to come.
@@WanderingYankee Good luck! I have built that one and I missed ONE damn block while doing the base... my roof was not easy to build after that 😄
my eyes is blessed
Your grammar are bad.
@@Halo_Legendlol your being very harsh
we NEED that tutorial bro this build is incredible
The mud bricks are the unsung heros of this build lol. And Not just because it's my favorite block in the game. But it goes so nicely with the Blackstone! Amazing as always.
Thank you for noticing. I've really grown fond of them too. So many good uses.
You're always surprising with your very own and recognizable style, it's just crazy ! Each time we think that you got the climax of your building level and the end of the possibilities and each time ... we're just captivated ... Congratulations and I hope you'll always give us a new way of seeing architecture, in minecraft but so much further !
Thank you so much, truly! I'm so glad that you're inspired by my builds. I want to create many more going forward and I'm glad you're here for the journey. 🙂
I love the strings of lanterns that hang off of each other
The beginning, the music, the visuals. This is so cool.
Just a construction guru...a Master with an incredible imagination!
Thank you!
Again you manage to create a masterpiece… the build, as well as the cinematics are absolutely fabulous!
Thank you! I really appreciate it!
This a true work of art! I am in complete awe over how talented you are! Amazing work!
And why is this video making me emotional?? 😂
Thank you so much! The music was rather melancholic at times but I hope that it made you emotional in a good wy. 😀
@@SixWings Oh it did, it was very beautiful music 😊
I can see the inspiration in Palma de Mallorca Cathedral.
I loved the choice of color palette, because it conveys something mysterious, obscure but also magical, quite in keeping with the medieval fantasies we make and imagine.
I simply loved this construction!!!
Aesome that you saw the inspiration! It has a really distinct look I just love. I also tried to pay homage to the Moorish architecture that influenced Andalusian architecture, specifically the checkered arches you see in a lot of churches. I used that reference for the interior pillars. Even though it isn't a direct reference, it still gives those vibes I think.
Oh my goodness. I am not sure what it was about this build, but I had tears in my eyes as I watched this. All I can do is shake my head and take a big breath. Just absolutely Gorgeous - but even beyond that. Thank you for sharing. It captured something I have no words for! So I'll just sit and be quiet for a bit.
Thank you so much for the kind words. This comment makes me so happy.
that far away view shot looks so cool. I bet that was the best moment seeing that for the first time!
Yes! I designed the build with that angle in mind. Such a nice vista.
Это просто офигенно!!! Никогда такого не видела. Даже представить себе не могла, что можно сделать такое искусство. Вы огромный молодец!!!☺️
Your videos are as always mesmerizing! One has to appreciate the amount of effort you surely put into making all this. The angles, the timelapse, the music, it is all so well done! It is clear that each of your creations is made with love, every block serves a purpose, and everything is put together perfectly and presented with care. I am inspired by your builds and by your videos. Would you consider explaining how you chose your palettes?
Thank you! That means so much to me. I never knew that I would enjoy making videos as much as I love designing architecture. Really good question. The initial colors I choose for a build, usually has some kind of real world reference. but it's not necessarily something I think too much about. I tend to go by instinct a lot of times, as vague as that sounds. For this build I wanted a warm limestone look, reminiscent of spanish cathedrals, but with the dark weathered effect.I took that to a more extreme level, by using oak to give a warm saturated look, and deepslate for a darker look than what would be realistic in this context. Let's face it, you would probably need more smoke than the small house chimneys can provide, to darken the stone to Cologne Cathedral levels. For the specific blocks, I tend to be a bit conservative when it comes to the number of block types I use. I lean heavily on fences, walls, stairs and iron bars and use those blocks in different variations, to create detail together with "standard" blocks. While other builders add barrels, camp fires etc.. Blocks I typically don't use as much. I also tend to only use a couple of different blocks types when texturing, while others might use a more varied palette. I tend to use the minimum amount to get the gradients I want. Hope that helps.
@@SixWings Your texturing style really helped me improve mine! And also, limiting myself in terms of block types was an integral part of me lerning how to build. I started with small swamp and jumgle villager houses, and now am moving on to quasi-Victorian houses haha
@@dasha-minecraft I'm glad it helped you. And starting with small house first is a really good way of getting practice. 🙂
I am a builder in Minecraft myself - it helps relieve the serious stress of my day job. Your builds are worthy to be backdrops in movies with how intricate and detailed they are. I eagerly await the tutorials you publish, and I am so honored and humbled that you choose to share your magnificent architecture with us! Can't wait to build some of these edifices (with my own tweaks because I am like that) and spread the word of your channel through your art. Keep on building breathtakingly beautiful and amazing things! 🥰
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it. And awesome that you add you own spin on my builds to make them your own.
Absolute masterpiece. Love the cathedral/gothic touches - the rose and ornate windows, the delicate spires, the flying buttresses...
And just when I think the structure couldn't possibly get any taller, it does. The cherry trees were the perfect finishing touch. Those fireworks, too. Your details are phenomenal.
Always a delight to watch your work.
I love your builds so much, they are true masterclass, and the way you present them in the videos is just magical. I feel awed and happy just looking at them. Thank you so much for sharing them!
Amazing build and beautiful time lapse. I couldn't take my eyes off while watching. 18 minutes gone by in a flash. Good work!
Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it. 🙂
The details and scale are insane and the texturing really brought it alive. Not to mention the proportions are so good. You are such an inspiration my guy. I haven't played MC for a few months due to work but I always find myself looking back at your builds for ideas when I wanted to build something. Keep up the stupendous work!
I love how intentional your use of minecraft as a media for your art is. A lot of people seem to fight the confines of minecraft and force organic shapes that the viewer has to make allowances for. They are beautiful too, don't get me wrong, but they also feel like the builds would look very different if the creator painted them instead. Like if someone wanted to make pixel art so they just reduced the resolution on a piece instead of making the pixel art directly and intentionally. Generally, and especially with your more architectural builds, your builds look like they belong in minecraft and the organic elements seem to fit within the environment of the game. I think that's also why your builds look so phenomenal up close while you are exploring them as well as far away. You build to the media instead of against it and that's just so awe inspiring.
This build is insane, so detailed, every single block carefully placed but it's gotta be a nightmare to build in survival. All the materials and scaffolding you'd need, so much grinding 😱.And here I thought building Birchblossom Castle was a lot of work, but it's a walk around the park compared to this.Big respect to minecraft builders, the amount of patience and creativity is mindblowing. When I see builds like this I always think "There's no way this guy doesn't work as an architect irl!"
Oh my god oh my god oh my god!!! Now my brain won’t shut up until i build this in Survival and make it into a librarian trading hall haha
Lol! That was my thought as well, a cool trading hall 😄
Thank you, as always! Love your dedication. Glad to have you on board! 😀
Oh look, another absolute marvel !
Impressive as always.
Thank you!
I loved the absolute astounding amount of thought that went into this. From the level of understanding with the architecture of the build, the floor patterns, and I LOVE the way you build trees with long draping branches like willow trees. Your editing was on point, as well! I want to live here!
I’m halfway through and i’m mesmerized. absolutely the best attention to detail i’ve ever seen 😭
You did it again!
This is so beautiful!
I really like how you play with shadows and textures in the main hall, seeing it made me so happy XD
Thank you so much! Glad you picked up on that detail. 🙂
You've done it again!!!! Very nice!
Absolutely gorgeous work, once again! I love your attention to detail in building but also cinematic wise. Tremendous effort! :)
Thank you so much! 😊
Easily becomes one of my favorite builds you have done so far. It is humongous massive build. That is definetley a lot of work. massive work. especially for a one guy army. Keep going!
Thanks Morst! Really glad you like it. Yeah, it was a lot of work but that's okay. On to the next project. ;-)
Unbelievable. Your creativity, artistic vision, and work ethic are highly inspirational. Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you! I will. 🙂
Heck yeah!!! Always a pleasure to see your videos on my feed, you’re such an incredible builder, super inspiring
Thank you so much! Glad you're inspired.
I literally got chills when you looked across the.way once.it.was.done. the cinematography is so beautiful
As always, you have the most stunning, architecturally gorgeous builds I have ever seen in this game. Blown away time and time again. You are so fantastically creative and should be exceptionally proud of what you continue to create.
This is so insane! Such a beautiful build. Incredible😍
Thank you!
Absolutely stunning work, keep it up!
I will!
Man I really loved every part of this video, specially the last view of the construction, it is ART and I LOVE IT
another exceptional build! i'm glad i found your channel. your creativity is inspiring! :)
I love how your build always makes me fell so small in the minecraft world, such a huge thing for such small creatures its so pretty!
Yet another amazing video by the great SixWings!
The quality and simplicity of your videos are amazing bro, you deserver at LEAST 100k 😭 Keep up the good work, your builds are like no other
Thanks a lot! Really glad to hear that. ☺️
This is an amazing build, I recently build a cathedral to celebrate the 8 year anniversary of my survival single player world and as part of a larger project including a big tradinghall. The atmosphere Minecraft has in combination with big medieval builds are magic.
Keep up the great work!
The vaulted ceilings are genius. I love the simple color palette for the build. This will look amazing next to or connected to the Sanctum
Thank you for noticing. 😊
love it ! you are a very inspiring builder, gives me a lot of ideas just watching you work! thanks keep uploading
Thank you! That is one of the best complements. 🙂
@@SixWings well deserved !
Another fantastic job.
Looking forward to tutorials
Thank you very much for your works
Thanks you too!
amazing work as always :)
I missed your video, awesome work as always.
So beautiful! The build, the editing, the transitions - this is mezmerizing
Thank you so much!
great work!
Love how you built with the natural terrain with very little terraforming! Love the build also!! Love how cinematic it all is! Actually, I just love everything about this! Nice work!! It's very inspirational!
Thank you! Personally I really like finding locations and building for that context specifically. Sometimes I do some terraforming, but I'm not a big fan of it. Some builders are really good at it and create some impressive settings.
Un'altro grande capolavoro... come sempre solo una parola: WOW.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you!
There is something deeply and profoundly magical about this. Thank you.
This looks absolutely amazing
I just found your channel today, and man, you're something.
very good builds! I will draw inspiration from your vids!
Thank you! Good to have you on board. 🙂
You are vastly underrated. I'm so glad my brother showed me your channel. Even if I don't even use your builds, I greatly inspired to build.
Pure class and every thing sticks to theme and blends well decent job
Wonderful, as always!
Fantástico es admirable el nivel de detalle en tus construcciones espero algún día hagas la réplica de la ciudad prohibida o de algún otro monumento 👍🏻🙏🏼
Thank you! That's a really cool idea. Thank you for suggesting it.
Mesmerizing as always. Thank you.
You're welcome. And thank you too!
these build are insanely large and thorough. needs more likes. well done
Thanks a lot! Really appreciate it.
Beautiful as always
I simple love seeing the things you are building keep em comming :)
I will. Thank you!
So beautiful!
It's incredible how you always surpass yourself with every construction you do. I can't wait for the tutorial for this build
Thank you so much!
Bruh, the beginning sketch... You just get better every time
Absolutely stunning!!!
Amazing work, as usual. I love how cozy the living quarters are next to the grandiose cathedral full of books instead of pews.
Thank you and I'm so glad you appreciate the smaller details.
I was originally drawn to your channel because of the Dragon Palace build and fell in love with it. I feel the same way about this build. It looks absolutely stunning in every way. And since you've made tutorials before, do you think you'll make a tutorial for this masterpiece? Either way, keep up the good work. I might even take the time to replicate one of your incredible works myself. ❤
I think it's such a nice touch that you do interiors too - they're not just empty builds, they're functional and have life! this is just gorgeous :)
Thank you! 😀
Gorgeous and inspiring as always 👏
Thank you!
Amazing...just breathtaking. Wild horses couldn't drag me away from your channel 😉
I can't wait to build this in my survival world watching it's tutorial videos! I really respect you, SixWings:) Thx
Thank you so much!
impressive! the flooring combination surprised me, it's really cool!
Thank you! Really glad you like that part. 🙂
I wish my dad would allow me to support your patron , the builds look so great and a lot would perfectly fit into my world , until I can , keep up the work
Mark 16:11 is THE BEST SHOT in this video and I love is soooo much! A wonderful build. Marvelous!
Amazing like always! :)
Stunning!!!
It's not just creativity it's a builder and drawing wow so impressive
I don't know how do you keep doing a beautiful builds
Absolutely Gorgeous
Gorgeous.
I have never once said that about any Minecraft build before.
10/10 once again. well done mate :)
Thanks!
Great build. Super inspired.
A nice fortify monastery. Another breathtaking work of art
Gorgeous! Love the nighttime view
Thank you! Yeah, me too.
I love your videos, you make amazing builds
that is so so so amazing! feeling like watching a movie
I always struggle furnishing and finishing interiors, this is wonderfully done.
Thanks! Appreciate it. I do too actually, but since it's going so fast in the timelapse, it looks so smooth. 😅
you earned my sub.. fantastic build, video, music... just great
Thank you so much!
Wow. Its beautiful. Well done.
Thank you so much!
That drawing at the start is amazing
Excellent work. I love the build. Now for the big question: Is there going to be a tutorial for this build?
+1
Thank you. Yes, but it will take some time. But stick around and the tutorials will come in time.
@@SixWings Outstanding!! I absolutely am looking forward to seeing the finished tutorials. Thank you.
12:04 those villagers were having some fun 😂
Simply stunning as always 🥰💝🥰
Just discovered your video and it's wander full.
Also I would love to see nether buildings and/or with blossom theme.
Thank you and thanks for the suggestions.
Brooo..whaaaat this is awesome.
Thanks you 👃 this build is beautiful
Beautiful video and build! Question...How do you get your villagers to stay on one block and not move?
Thank you. There's a command where you spawn them without A.I. Here's the command I use. The second command is for rotating the villagers. So -90, 90 or 180 would be the three options. The first command would be the fouth. And of course, remember to put in the right coordinates.
/summon minecraft:villager -76 65 -190 {NoAI:1b}
/summon minecraft:villager -76 65 -190 {NoAI:1b,Rotation:[-90F,0F]}
insane man
