Tex seems very confused, as am I. Since the other mules were blocking the camera for most of Tex's "down" time, we can't see what you're doing, although it looks like you're trying to desensitize him. So it looks like the message is Don't move, no matter what! But then when you're on him it looks like you're trying to get him to move out using the same cues. But the lesson was don't move no matter what is slapping on you or rubbing on you. Or is that what you meant at the end, that you weren't trying to get him to move forward yet? On to the next video . . .
Amazing video. but how did you get him not to kick the fire out of you when you were behind him with those long reigns? That was magic. I have a 5 year old molly right now that i don't trust to be 5 ft from me. lol
I thought if you wanted a mule to not be scared of a horrible you don't hit them with it and cause pain therefore making them more scared wow that is so smart while you were doing I have never wanted to see someone get their head kicked off more than I do you
Before making negative remarks, please share what you would do differently. Have you seen what dominant mare does in the herd, when you introduce a new horse, especially if that horse kicks?
