Wat is het buiten koud hè? Vanaf deze week moet je de warmte echt binnen zoeken. Gelukkig hebben wij wat geregeld: Feng Suave, het Nederlandse duo dat de wereld verovert met warmbloedige soul en psychedelica. Iggy Pop draaide hun super catchy single ‘Sink Into The Floor’ al op de BBC en volgens Spotify zitten de meeste luisteraars van Daniël en Daniël in LA. En dat terwijl ze hun eerste EP gewoon in hun slaapkamertje opnamen: 'In onze onderbroek, maar dat kan tegenwoordig best wel goed.' Over een maand gaan ze weer op tour naar de UK, maar eerst waren ze te gast in 3voor12 Radio. 'Misschien doen we het goed in Spaanstalige landen. Of nee, dat is Los Angeles natuurlijk niet. In warme landen dan? Ja joh, want in Engeland hebben ze zo'n last van tropische stormen.'

Because people are too busy listening to whatever “commercial” and “pop” that’s forced down our throats. I can honestly say I haven’t listened to the radio in yeeeears, I’m talking like 10 years. And I always share all these great bands I find with my friends and they ask me how I constantly find these incredible bands that no ones ever really heard. I said because I refuse to listen to mainstream bs and it forces you to explore and just randomly find fantastic music. I think I do more than my part in getting the word out about bands like these.
