I love Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown, they are my favorite rock and roll band together with his wife's band Larking Poe. They capture what blues and rock are all about: the legacy, the feeling. His presentation of the 50s Strat a couple years ago left me speechless (I have tried to play those solos ever since). The way he hangs on to his notes is beautiful. His fingers are like an eagle's claws holding onto its prey mid-hunting. It is a mad experience. And then he changes tuning and pulls out a slide that rings like the stars in a Summer midnight drinking a glass of whisky. No need to say, in my eyes, he is my generation's rock and roll icon.
Tyler is such an incredible artist and player, but more importantly, a humble and kind human being. No one deserves this honor more than Tyler!!! Proud of you!!
Tyler mentions his wife a lot and you can tell he loves her. She's also the lead singer for Larkin Poe, which is one of the best modern Blues bands on the planet.
Yeah, Tyler and Rebecca are today’s hot rock couple, and Rebecca’s sister, Megan, is an incredible lap-steel player! And her husband, Mike Seal, is a pretty fair player, too.
Tyler Bryant seems like such a genuinely nice, humble and down-to-earth person, on top of being an incredible, hard-working musician! Makes me appreciate his work even more… As for the guitar, it looks and sound absolutely gorgeous. The pickguard, of course, is the highlight, but the whole thing is just so full of vibe and soul, wow. Also, nice touch from Fender to release this video on February 24th, aka Bryant's birthday (and mine, haha). Happy belated, Tyler! Keep on rocking!

I've always enjoyed Tyler's guitar work. Not your run of the mill shredding. There's real soul and an unpredictable reaching for newness in his compositions. He's produced some very impressive albums which just improve as his experience grows. He's an artist I don't mind supporting.

I sent a photo to a good friend of mine and, as a joke he replied "does it come with a handbag"? So... I started to wonder for a minute if my choice was really the right one for the money 😂.... LET ME BE VERY... VERY CLEAR: Shell pink IS the road. And I'm going to follow that road AS HIGH AS IT CAN F-CKING GET ME, with absolute confidence and pleasure. Not only that, but when he'll come back from Spain, he too will fall in love with it and admit it: shell pink is amongst Fender's top 5 finishes of ALL TIMES... Plus.... I have a picture idea that's going to trigger a SHITLOAD of people 😂

Good afternoon friends, I bought a california squier manufactured in china in 2008, the guitar has a scalloped neck and the previous owner says that it left the factory that way, would that be possible, squier at some point produced scalloped guitars, maybe on order but really that is true ?

Fender resurrected the Shawbucker for this, really? Strat players really didn't take to that particular pickup 8 yrs ago due to feedback issues when used with high gain. Fender never really committed to the idea of a superstrat in the 1980s and soon lost ground to Tyler, Charvel and Suhr. I never really understood it. It was as though they were slightly irritated by the way players took it on themselves to create this modification of their original SSS design. A deal between Fender and Seymour Duncan or Dimarzio would have seen them clean up in the 80s and 90s regarding this market.
I bought one of Tyler’s old Teles. It just arrived yesterday and now less than 24 hours later I see this.
