The barrel bassinet would be fine. Babies small enough for bassinets arent even able to sit up yet. It's a cute decorative piece too, if you have that style in other things. And a kitty cat would love it.
Honestly, if I could find a big enough barrel, I’d scale up and make that my actual bed, get some pirate vibes in my room.
That "walking the plank" one reminds me of gathering a bunch of rocks where rocks can be gathered and painting them in phosphorescent neon colors. You could have a family of "glow in the dark" pet rocks.
Oh my goodness, you have awoken a memory from my childhood, in the 80s (in the UK). There was this trend for a while of tourist spots selling these ornaments where a bunch of small stones where glued on top of a slightly larger rock as if they were a group of people gathered for a group photo or something.
The stones were often painted in bright colours with eyes (and very occasionally mouths but usually just the eyes) and there was often a little signpost made out of a lolly stick or a little label on the rock that said 'rock concert' on it, although some said something else, possibly the name of the tourist place you bought it, while others didn't say anything at all.
I thought those things were so funny when I was a kid but I hadn't thought about them in at least a couple of decades 😂

They had those when I was little, when we toured the Western US. When we made it to Yellowstone National Park we went into the tourist shop to look around whilst my dad got 'comfortable' in the loo... so sorry, Yellowstone. Next to the cashier was a little stand with these rocks all stood up and glued onto either another longer flat rock, or a piece of redwood, or something like that. Some had googly eyes, & some had painted ones, and some had questionable looking mouths painted on them. Then they'd have a scene setup around them, with a little sign out of toothpicks or lolly sticks or whatever, reading "yellow- STONE" My dad appreciated that kind of humor. Unfortunately for him, he wasn't allowed in the gift shop due to "vandalizing the restrooms", lol! I told him not to eat that burrito!

He's wrecked many a restroom, privy, loo, outhouse, bathroom, etc. If it had a toilet (or a hole in the ground) he ruined it for others! Every port, in just about every country. You know how some people like to say "I've dipped my toes in the waters of every European country"? My dad dipped his cheeks and the waters were rather contained. He was a foul man. He's probably down there in Hell ruining it for Satan! The devil and God are arguing about who should take him, meanwhile, in Purgatory...

I'm diabetic, and for an art project I made a sculpture out of a bunch of my used diabetes supplies like syringes, test strip bottles, and infusion site cables. I did make sure to remove any hazards on them like the sharp pointy bits beforehand though
I was also thinking it would be a pretty cool way to reclaim the power with a medical condition. My partner has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and has said she wants to use the empty containers from her tests strips in her crafting and I would definitely consider using stuff from my medical conditions and also my testosterone shots to craft with.
I've seen some people do this very effectively in the past, even in professional art galleries. It's a very typical 'artist does thing to make a statement and/or make a personal emotional journey' kind of thing to be honest and definitely has the potential to be very powerful when done well

Pro Tips: Never use a foam roller, and white, and lighter colours hide all other colours best. Dark, bold or vibrant colours are translucent, requiring multiple coats to build up to chosen colour; starting with an appropriately tinted primer, one can significantly reduce the colour building coats. Using a nap roller would eliminate the coat "ghosting" seen in video.

the wheel covers are not that bad, the bad one is the person who thought of gluing crystals to the middle of the steering wheel, where the airbag comes out. I think it was so it could radiate positive energy while driving, what it will do is give you instant fragmental death upon collision.

I know a guy who now owns a VW conversion just like the here, hell it might be the same guy, since it's so close to where I am. Years ago it was at the MAACO the Hertz I worked at used. Dude was super chill. I keep running into him and every time the finish on that thing gets better and better. First it looked like the image, then it was well matched with paint, and fitment, and then the bed was finished and lined. Very cool.
