We got a 6,7 guy in our gym shooting only threes. One time I told him to set me a screen, my man walks up to me and sets the screen on me. Never laughed so hard in my life.

One of the most embarrassing things is when people yell and fight over possessions/calls. Like fam our city puts limited $ into gyms/basketball why would you come to a 2 hour open gym and yell for 15 minutes? 24/7 we can be turned into criminals but we only have 3 days a week 2 hours each day to hoop. Not only that the examples being set for young people through arguments are negative. They think challenging others rather co-operation to elevate the game or challenging themselves to get better is then the look. Def something that is embarrassing because it denies us all the chance for empowerment and improvement.

At least your gym opens its doors to the public. In my town they won't let you use the indoor court unless you book it out and it's like 50 dollars an hour.

well getting blocked happens to everyone who plays enough pick up, the airball is the worst tho. Like when you can just feel your shot was off and you see it just gradually go bad the further ahead it gets, you yell rebound in vain and just bite down that shame. I don't mind the ankles, like I'll commend any one who gets me shifting but on offense I'll just get e'm right back so I ain't even trippin on that.
