The point is you should feel it. If you sing it you should sing it from your heart. We respect he was Not sure if he would offend his father and been cool with it. Noone would ever force you to sing against your will. If you watch M.Neuer he also mostly look for the flag to see the colours while he sings the anthem. Its very personal to everyone 🙂

Really: It pisses me off that the "immigrant" players don't sing the fucking anthem! If I moved (for example) to the US and became part of their national squad - I would sing the fuck out of their anthem - because I was playing for their national team! Mesut Ozil is 3rd generation so that means that he was born in Germany and his parents were also born and raised in Germany. The obvious choice for him would be to represent Germany.
Oezil honestly needs to be kicked off the team. He doesn't identify with Germany in the slightest. He has shown that he feels much more in common with the so called Ummah.

Klose is not an immigrant , he's originally German who migrated to Poland and returned to his homeland.
