- (The G6 is an F#6, but quite a few people said there's a G6 peak in there somewhere so I notated that. Also, the G5 belt is actually flat so it's an F#5. Aaaand two of these clips are technically studio, but we're all going to have to learn to live with that)
Vocal range of this amazingly talented soprano voice. She's got agility that's currently unrivaled by anyone in her age group (other than Jojo) and musicality for days. She's also got a pretty solid lower register and a great mid-range.

Her lower register is very good for her voice type. I loved those C#3's and Eb3's. Her mid belts are amazing. I loved her B4's, Her E5's in I'm ready and her F#5's in dear no one. Her riffs and runs on PYT, eyelashes, daydream and Dear No one >>>>. Great video. You are welcome. Glad to help you. :)

Her voice is so perfect to me. Everything here was like flawless to me, and I definitely think her lower register needs more credit as well. It's pretty well executed, when I 1st heard a few of her songs, it reminded me of JoJo's lower register, but a bit lighter.

Her voice is just everything I'm so obsessed with her. That agility is so insane that I wonder if even Beyoncé or Mariah could pull off some of those runs. From a technical perspective she's pretty solid with the exception of those upper belts but it's not like she is in her upper register as often as most. Overall great singer & great video!

C heart Yeah she's better in terms of technique than Tori Kelly. I love Tori, but you can't be delusional just because you dislike beyonce. That woman has crazy vocal chops. She has some of the best technique in Pop and RnB history. She's managed to stay in her prime for 15+ years which has never really been done by a woman before. Their voices usually deteriorate, but hers didn't. Don't discredit Bey just because you think she's "Overrated" even though she isn't.

Love her voice!!! Her agility is stunning, as she proves on those beautiful runs accompanied with great musicality. Her low register is amazing too, not just for her voice type but better than many mezzos. Her midbelts and head voice are really beautiful and I wish she started to use her whistle register a bit more, especially since it seemed like she could control it on that clip.
The only part of her voice I don't like as much is her upper belts which seem strained at times to me (And it seems like other people here think the same) I know raspiness is not always straining but it sounds like it was for me, anyway she's not hitting that notes everytime so it's ok :P
Yeah I think her lower register deserves a bit more credit than people are giving her for it haha. I wanna see her experiment with her whistles some more too. And yeah she definitely strains sometimes in the upper mixed range, you can tell especially on the G5 when she pulls up her larynx and the sound is totally choked off. But everything else is pretty solid, so I'm willing to forgive that. Thanks for watching!
It's XDaniC sorry, she's a coloratura soprano, she hit an F6 headvoice and harmonized an A5 on her album, and her lower start from C#3, which is mean she can't hit lower than C#3, well even tho she doesn't have a neutral larynx when hit E5 and above, but sometimes she had some supported notes, and good breath control.. (mezzos only belt till G5)
@@danieljuliano6759 wtf are you saying many mezzos can belt above G5, like Beyoncé for example. And vocal range has nothing to do with the vocal type Mariah is also a coloratura soprano and has hit notes below Bb2 many times live. Please inform yourself better.

F3 ~ D5 for supported range...and for some reason she reminds me of Adrienne Bailon, JoJo and Paula DeAnda....Also great video, your videos are different because of the fact that you highlight where the support drops by going from highest to lowest low note and lowest to highest high note, it's really interesting to watch ^ ^

Her lower register is sooooooooo full. Sound very good with earphones
our voices are complete opposites. She's a very strong soprano, but her bass is not nearly as strong. Her low Fs and Es are a little strong. I'm a very strong contralto. I can go as low as G on a good day. My low notes are very strong where as my soprano needs tons of work lol.
When you say lower G, do you mean G3 or G2 because if you're a contralto hitting only a G3 on a good day. No offense, but that's kinda bad 😂

Yaaaaaaaaass I was wondering if you were going to do one for tori and I'm glad you did. Great job! Love tori. Girl can sing sing her face off. I wish she had less tension and more freedom in the Eb5-G5 range but it's okay. She's an awesome singer and musician. That pyt riff will always slay me. Between her, mitch, amber, and Ariana I don't know what to do with my life when they start doing their cute little riffs and runs. Just yes.
I'm doing a live vocal range for Jazz, Amber, and updated ones for Rozzi and Jojo next. Not sure of the order but they're all coming :P And yeah, Tori's got a bit of tension but I can forgive it since it's in a part of her range she doesn't use a whole lot. Thanks for watching!

i would say she and ariana are the only singers out now that has that agility while ariana has more ease especially in the upper belts tori is talented in her own right loved her middle belts here she doses tend to pull on her chest voice/larynx which i hate because u can literally hear her throat close on the vowel/note shes singing
Sorry to be 2 years late on this, but how do you know it's her larynx and not the way she shapes her syllables when she's near the end of her range. I mean if there IS a video with a tight shot on her neck when she belts I just haven't seen it yet, not to mention that most of these videos were shot from a distance and/or have bright light shining on her which prevents people from seeing anything as subtle as that.

That 40-somthing note run at 9:16 is INSANE. I've tried to sing it, and while I can get the notes out (sort of), her power, personality, and just sheer musical understanding are inimitable. What an incredible musician.

i was in absolute tears by E5. oh my god.
She's a talented singer she just needs to support her upper and mid belts more. Right off the bat you could tell she is struggling, especially when she tries to add vibrato to her belting. Her vibrato is kind of wobbly and forced instead of just flowing freely. She needs to get a vocal coach, preferably one who can teach opera and secular styles.

When you say that 'she has musicality for days', what do you mean exactly? I'm sorry but English is not my first language, so I'm a bit confused! Great video though, more people should know about her, she's fantastic!
I just mean that she sings with really good musicianship (her runs are well-placed, she has a good sense of tempo, rhythm, and uses different dynamic contrasts)

Danny T It kind of depends on how her voice matures. Right now, she could either be a soprano with a pretty awesome low range, or a mezzo whose voice sits a bit higher. Try this question again when she's about 30 or so, and then you'll know for sure.
But to answer based on her voice now, she's more of a soprano. Her timbre suggests a voice built for high notes, her best resonance is up top (despite pretty great lows), and her voice seems to be uncomfortable right on the expected soprano break (F5-G5).
