I think people are mean to others if they’re insecure about something and they see others being successful in that area. Kane is insecure about himself and fears dating. He’s mad at Kevin because Kevin gets dates all the time. He didn’t want Kim and Kevin to date because he doesn’t want to be the only single one. He’s also mean to Christine because she’s in a happy committed relationship. Christine is the only one in the group who has reached a state in her life that many people would consider to be their end goal (married, a kid, financially stable), that might be why she rubs people the wrong way.
I don’t understand the hate they have for Christine. It’s very confusing. They all seem very bitter and just love to talk shit about someone living a better lifestyle than them. Especially since Christine is accepted to Hollywood society. It’s just my observation. Kevin was saying how the lack of filming and the amount of things behind the scenes creates a lot of lost context or development. The lack of context / development is pretty apparent because they don't record things most of the time lol. It's honestly annoying.
