Doesnt the leather will affect the thermal insulation of the macbook, which might be an issue later on for the macbook?

The MacBook Pros are so efficient that it really isn't a problem. Even when video editing, it's fine. However, if you're doing really intensive things that make the fans turn on, I recommend you do remove the case. However, I've done so and left the case on and it's still fine lol.
