From Jermaine’s Delta Airlines Sports Desk
Guess you can say that an extra day of rest from Thursday’s opening day really paid off for the Atlanta Braves, and they punished the Phillies again in a 12-4 victory today inside Citizens Bank Park.
The atmosphere inside the stadium was a lot more energetic than the previous one yesterday, and the local fans are hoping their home team could bring some retaliation against Atlanta. The second round started with the Braves responding with two runs in the first inning. Then the Phillies answered back with a bit more punch to steal the lead with three runs. Although, Atlanta is getting a little ahead of themselves by scoring three more homers in the second to take back the lead, and a couple more in the third to inflict more damage on the Phillies.
But for the Phillies, this is as far as they can get through the game. They scored another run in the bottom of the third inning and nothing further. This matchup is a major disappointment for the locals but a major thrill for the Braves. Atlanta finished off with four more runs in the sixth, and delivered the final blow in the ninth with another homer, ending up taking the first series of the season.
The last round begins tomorrow as the Braves are looking to complete their first sweep of the season. Will the Atlanta Braves remain perfect for their first sweep, or will the Phillies strike back and prevent their third loss?
Find out by tuning in Easter Sunday as the Braves are looking for their perfect sweep of the season in enemy territory from Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia!
    BRAVES (2-0) VS. PHILLIES (0-2)

Consistency Max Fried wasn't consistent yesterday if he were, Snit would not have pulled him. I'm a 1970's Braves fan and I'm speaking the truth. This is a business and the regular season has started there is no time to see if you got it, make changes and moves early because we will see this team again in October as in the last 3 seasons for the World Series Championship.
