just so you know here in Indonesia there are a lot of people who tried every way to gain popularity no matter if its a bad thing to do or not. But Raisa is different, she didnt thirst for popularity. She's talented enough to be famous, she needs no sensation to get on TV or such. thats why her life is so peaceful compared to other celebrities "in general", her private life is safe from harmful media like gossip or etc.

The culture for Indonesian artist is day and night with the Korean culture. In Indonesia when a famous person getting married it's a HUGE news, their dating news is just like daily gossip and even sort of encouraged.
It will be on TV for days and if the famous person up to it, the wedding days and preparation and after is a commodity.

I watched Raisa's live performace and I could say that she is the best Indonesian female soloist that I've ever seen. Her live vocals are crazy. Even though you're not on a heart-break situation, you literally can cry while listening to her heart break songs. Queen indeed.

I think that dating and getting married (which are actually normal) are seen as scandal only in korean industry (especially idol), isnt it? Korean industry focus on the personal (and also idol-fan relationship) more than the arts when the others may do it vice versa. Especially in Indonesia, there are many good songs played on the radio without even knowing who the singers are đ, meanwhile in kpop (in my own experience) mostly people (not all) tend to know the singer first then to the songs.

Tbh that's what i likr about music industry in indonesia,there's no fanatic fandom, musicians just make whatever type of music they want, they're not attacthed to any competition or particular style that one has to follow as a musician, they're just being themselves

As an Indonesian I am so proud because most of the musician from Indonesia can speak English very well. And their music are not jokes. But I don't know people didnt recognize their talent.

It's normal in Indonesia for celebrities to go dating or get married. Many of them even get married younger than Raisa did. I think the culture of music industry in Indonesia isn't as strict as in Korea. We don't get keeping our idols here.
However when Raisa got married, it became National Brokenhearted Day because she's loved by everyone but at the same time people are happy too about the news.

I want to say something very important to you. You really deserve to like Raisa. Her songs, her life, to her career are all very good. She is not filled with trash scandals that often occur in Indonesia. Raisa is a singer who must be admired. She is talented and deserves the highest praise. She gained popularity not by doing everything (*bad deeds) to gain popularity but because of her talent. You must hear Raisa songs. You will understand why she gets the highest appreciation in Indonesia.
Eric, can you collaborate next with Raisa? I want to see you guys working together on a song or performing together on stage.
