Hi! Well, I don't know about other materials/objects, but when it comes to paper, there's a video in which there's explained how many times it can be recycled. Here's the link: 🔗 》czcams.com/video/jAqVxsEgWIM/video.htmlsi=ShfxUHyixFwxjK0Q I quote what's waid at timestamp 1:27 on the video: "Because each round of recycling shortens (paper's) fibers, paper can only be recycled 5-7 times." So yeah, here you have the answer, I guess! :) I hope that helped.
Hi! In this video ( link: 🔗 czcams.com/video/HmhPuIKw0HY/video.htmlsi=O4m1UaZM0vvMw3QY • Timestamp where this is talked about: 1:21) and this other one (link: 🔗 czcams.com/video/jAqVxsEgWIM/video.htmlsi=ShfxUHyixFwxjK0Q • Timestamp where this appears: 0:42) it basically says that, during the separation process, paper goes through a magnet so that metal pieces can be separated from the paper itself, thus achieving the decontamination of the prime material (pure paper). Hope it helped! :) (Also, yes, as you can see, I've watched plenty of videos about paper recycling process xD)
@@minsungderstandingsHey, thanks for answering! I'm also curious about this, as well as what they do about the plastic windows on envelopes, rubber cement that seals folded papers, laminated decals and stickers like stamps and address labels, glitter and foil and other trash on greeting cards, scratch-off residue from car dealership ads... So much random trash that is in junk mail! How much of this stuff are we supposed to remove before recycling our paper?
Millions of tons of toilet paper is flushed away every day. We should collect it for recycling. It could be used to make many items such as paper plates, drinking cups and straws. They could be dyed brown to hide any leftover impurities.
Can things only get recycled a limited amount of times?
