Wow, I'm OD-ing on The Secret Team tonight, but it's a great way to go, lol! Hots on for their next vid, I say! Such a great song, and such a great job covering it, goodGod this was excellent!
Been Zep nut forever and “Secret Team” nailed the swing feel, rockabilly guitar, forward motion sensation and most of all the Gonzo style syncopation and accenting that the king of rock drummers is known for!
Absolutely stunning!! The guitar at the end is probably the greatest hard rock riff and could only have been created by the one and only Jimmy Page. A credit to you all. What a great band you are!!
This must be my 20th time visiting this, over the past 5 years of discovering this cover of one of Zep's greatest tunes. I always come back to watch & listen to this AWESOME version again........BUT I AM ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED THAT AFTER 8 YEARS, THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN VIEWED ONLY 8,400 TIMES. IT DESERVES OVER A MILLION VIEWS, AND PEOPLE ARE TRULY MISSING OUT!!! SAME GOES FOR YOUR OTHER ZEP COVER: "ACHILLES LAST STAND".........OUTSTANDING JOB ON BOTH, AND FEW OTHER COVER BANDS CAN CAPTURE THE TRUE ZEP VIBE. I know, because I'm a lifelong guitarist/harmonica/singer/performer and perfectionist when we used to cover Zep tunes.
I know I left a previous comment here 3 months ago, but I just wanna say, when I'm down, all I have to do is put on the head phones and this cover tune sets me free. It's got to be one of the best damn Zep covers on the CZcams, and I have several I really like. I don't gig out anymore, but videos like this sure gives me the "itch" to do it again. God Bless all the talent that carries the Zep torch. You guys are at the top of your game on this tune. Thanks again.
Susan can carry any heavy metal back up band, flawlessly! Sung like a true pro. And, the band is outstanding, Len. I wouldn't have expected anything less from you. You make me right proud! Love, Ter
Amazing, I had never seen such a perfect cover performance... Rick Fedyk, I'd like to congratulate you because I'm a Led Zeppelin's fan since I was 6 and you're the very first person to actually play like Bonzo... the mood... the strenght on the beats and your hit-hat is sounding the same, which I think it's one of Bonzo's trade marks... Once again, for the whole band, congratulations!
I've actually watched this several times over the past couple of months. I genuinely don't think I've heard a better Zep cover version. Excellent drummer who has chops without sounding too 'Mike Portnoy' (he's great, but this is better for Zep) - a real Bonham vibe in there, excellent guitarist with a real feel for the song, not imitating Page, just gets it and plays it well. Excellent vocals clean, but ever so slightly 'smoky' (for want of a better word) as well as being erm, very... female (sexy, if I'm honest...sorry!) really give both songs an interesting edge. Serious suggestion: if The Secret Team recorded the other 5 songs on Presence releasing a cover album would be huge.
That one sentence about the drummer was PERFECT (you must be a drummer)! As a drummer I can say that too much perfection sucks! Bonham had feel, like no one else. Man I miss the days... EDIT : On my second listen, gotta say that this entire band is fantastic, but that the drummer is totally perfect on this track. Plays it like I do, and I grew up on Zeppelin (learning how to play drums by mimicking Bonham via headphones). Hey "Secret Team", great work!
Back again. Gotta be my 10th time ha ha. I just don't leave a comment every visit. It's a shame that more people haven't discovered your/this video. They're really missing out!!! I saw on your other video, you replied to another viewer & mentioned you were workin' on Royal Orleans. I don't see it on your channel. Am I missing it somehow? Or did ya never finish it? Either way, thanks for the AWESOME tunes. See ya next time.
Will finish Royal Orleans, I wanted the couch fire and all that in the solo section I just never got around to it Sorry I will post very soon its finished except to solo section which to a conceptional thing / Len
Awesome cover of an underrated gem. That guitar riff is dynamite. It looked like the guitarist was playing a Squire by Fender? If so that is yet more evidence that you can play awesome music and you don't need an overpriced "professional" guitar to do it.
Now I am a hard core Led ZEPPELIN fanatic. I just listened to what was claimed to be Van Halen doing this same song which by the way is an amazing tune and the so called VH version was Shit. I don't give out my props lightly to Anyone covering ZEPPELIN but good job whomever you are on this one
NICE!!!! An underrated classic performed brilliantly. Well done!!!
Unbelievable..the Secret Team floors me yet again. Every base covered. AWESOME...
Singer and bass player, spot on😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Great job to allof you. I love the songs of "Presence".
Thumbs up aplenty 😃🎸🇬🇧🇨🇦

Fantastic i never hear this song on the radio.
Great version of an underappreciated gem
Outstanding. I'm a little late to the party; came here after seeing your excellent "Carouselambra".
Party still going... more on the way !!!
Man, that vid will blow your mind!!!
FANTASTIC
Hard to believe only 11k views. This is supurb.
Crazy good guys..
Loved it!
you can see Mr. Bonham in this drummer's eyes. Just like you can see Mr. Page in the guitarist from PFOZ. Two Killer Cover Conglomerates All Around.
Been Zep nut forever and “Secret Team” nailed the swing feel, rockabilly guitar, forward motion sensation and most of all the Gonzo style syncopation and accenting that the king of rock drummers is known for!
Nicely put!
Absolutely stunning!! The guitar at the end is probably the greatest hard rock riff and could only have been created by the one and only Jimmy Page. A credit to you all. What a great band you are!!
Very. Very.,,.....,. good 😊.
Looks like John and Andy Hillstrand from the Time Bandit. Smooth execution, an easy return-to-video.
Oh yeah, fan-freakin-tastic, super job guys and girl. This is the way it should be done....razors edge.

Presence is such a brilliant funky album, kudos for a great version of Hots, and I'm usually very picky when people cover Zep.
Susan can carry any heavy metal back up band, flawlessly!
Sung like a true pro. And, the band is outstanding, Len. I wouldn't have expected anything less from you. You make me right proud!
Love,
Ter
Rock it. I saved it as a favorite!
Houses of the Holy Shit!! How am I just now finding you guys?
Another Awesome job! I like that you are doing the songs many others do not attempt in the Zep catalog. The B&W video is way cool too!
This fukking rocks
STUNNING!
this is slamming!!!!
That is top shelf! You got my toes tappin'.
Super, honest, peppy cover! Really nice!
wow. this cover actually does zeppelin justice, unlike all other zeppelin band covers.
I dunno, did you check out Zepparella? Oh, wait, that was 11 years ago ...
Nice, very very good.
Great cover !!!!
You guys are awesome I love the fact that you do tunes from my favorite zeppelin album

Best cover on the net of this by far, Thanks
Wow. I'm a rabid Zeppelin fan with extremely high standards, and I have to say that was fantastic.
Vocal hook smith she is

Hey "Secret Team", great work!
Portnoy has WAAAAY to much Prog in his playing and he's always pushing or ahead of the beat. Zep was a behind the beat scene.
We have new stuff... don't miss the Physical Graffiti medley !
@@SopranoPizzaJMFNJ Who the Hell is this Portney ?!?
@@zephead65 Mike Portnoy was the original drummer for Dream Theatre. He's done some Zep covers but he's mainly a prog rock player.
Nice!
1 word fuckingawesome!!!!!
Most Excellent!
i loved it
Really enjoyed this cover. Great job!
Best cover of this song I've heard to date. :)
oh yeh

Bitchen!!! Do Royal Orleans too!
czcams.com/video/2lRdqSK-F-Q/video.html
Great rendition but I wish the sound guy thought to turn the drummers toms up, his drum fill at the end is the peak of the song
Great
where is the second guitars and the backing vocals coming from....? nice video...
Is that Squier with stock tuners? Noticed the bass is a squier too, great job
I join nettles89! And give him a thumb up!
why the guitar overdub on this?
Well done! But it shouldn't say "by" The Secret Team, it should say "performed by." There's not even any mention that it's BY Zeppelin.
THATS BECAUSE IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE! ANYONE WITH COMMON SENSE KNOWS ITS AN M.L.Z. SONG!!!!
Now I am a hard core Led ZEPPELIN fanatic. I just listened to what was claimed to be Van Halen doing this same song which by the way is an amazing tune and the so called VH version was Shit. I don't give out my props lightly to Anyone covering ZEPPELIN but good job whomever you are on this one
sounds great! don't try to do too much with camera work though!
Good job except the solo wasn"t even close
